I have the AFE washable filter in my 99 F350 7.3 diesel. The cover I got from Riff raff diesel does not cover the front of the cover, but does help keep the main body of the filter cleaner. It was time to clean the filter and look for something that more fully covers the front of the filer. Works great, Snug fit, and helps keep the top of the filer clean as well as the main body. Will likely add another to the pack. I like high flow filters, but have always added some type of cover for added filtration as well as protection of the engine. Very nice.

Fit my 6637 knockoff filter very well. The red looks real good with black engine bay. Would buy again.

Arrived intact and as described. Snug fit over filter (expected) just be careful not to snag here and there. The tabs did not rip out while putting it on as it was massaged on from all around in increments (slow and steady). No tears, rips or blemishes so looks to be a very good start. Time will tell on it's durability however will try to update after some time. Thanks again for making something good and decent.

It fits over the large generator filter and helps with larger debris from clogging the main filter. Does a great job! I recommend for all air filters to have one if possible.

Ok, pre-filters are STRICTLY preference. Know that! It’s a fine mesh formed into a bag. I’ve got a run through in mine already. I knew that going into it. Common people, don’t blame a product for faulty install. I bought i for the look and as a placebo. I don’t know if it really does any good, but when I do ( rarely ) wash it, it is nastier that it looks, and looks better than I think it will. NOT a lifetime product. Deal with it. I prefer to run them, yes. However, if one “miles out” and I forget to order another one or I’m broke at the time and can’t afford to buy another one, oh well. Not the end of the world. My air filter is open, no housing. I like the muted look of the black pre filter on a white filter element. In the end, yeah, I’ll be buying them ( from this brand ) as long as they make the colors I like and the sizes I run.
