EPIC Provisions Wagyu Beef Steak Strips, Gluten-Free, 20 ct, 16 oz

I ordered both the wagyu beef and the venison . Just received them today. I’ve only tried the wagyu beef so far and I’m very impressed. It’s not overly salty and more like a dried hamburger beef. Not to dry to need a flosser like other Jerky’s. The venison is way to salty I definitely prefer the Wagyu

In the line, this is the closest to traditional beef jerky. It’s really delicious. I’m a beef jerky snob. I tried beef jerky from all over and this one’s pretty good. It’s a softer jerky. It’s not talking chewy. It’s easy on the teeth. But it’s very flavorful and satisfying because it’s a chunky strip. It’s not a solid piece of meat, it’s like ground meat breast with spices, but I like it. My favorite is a tie between this one and the cranberry bison bacon. That’s a completely different texture. That’s soft. Good for people that have issues. It’s just very flavorful. It’s a little fatty. It’s delicious if you like bacon it feels like you’re eating bacon.

Arrived promptly. Best Buy date out six months. 20 individually wrapped pieces. Average size. Good texture and flavor. A little greasy on the outside of the meat.

I guess I should read descriptions a little more carefully. I was looking for beef sticks and didn’t notice beef strips. Although I really ordered them due to their simple ingredients. When I received them they smelled really good, and I was excited to try them. However, here’s the reason for only 3 stars, they are hard!! Not beef jerky hard, but impossible to comfortably chew hard. So unless you have jaws of steel, I wouldn’t recommend them. They aren’t being wasted though as my pup loves them.

I hate beef jerky, it's spicy and got a weird texture. This wagyu jerky though is fantastic. The texture and flavor is good. Like others state though, I do notice an inconsistency in the jerky. Not just package to package but even within the same package itself. Some of them were more dry, some of them were more oily. I don't mind oily because I'll just use a napkin to dab at it. It makes it more moist. None of them were TOO dry or TOO oily for me, though. It was just a mildly noticeable difference. I have these in the office for when I feel I need something salty / meaty during the day.

No. These are not terrible tasting; they just have no taste. About a third of the product had unsealed packages that were identified by the meat stick being a darker color. For the price, it is not even close to being worthy of purchasing.

Amazing. It was tender, soft, and delicious.

So glad I tried EPIC Provisions products! Just ate one of the Wagyu Beef Steak Strips. YUM!
