Great strings
I like these strings quite a bit. The coating provides a slightly slippery feeling under the fingers that makes sliding your hands around the fretboard smoother than playing on standard strings. The coating feels more subtle than the coating on the equivalent Elixir strings. They have a balanced tone that lasts and lasts. These easily sound lively and new for more than three times as long as a standard XL set of strings making them a reasonable value proposition. I have used a single set for over a year on one of my guitars and it still sounds close to a new set of strings. One thing I don't like; the ball ends only feature three colors to differentiate the string gauges rather than the typical D'Addario color scheme with six different colors. While you can still identify each string gauge, it is not as easy to figure out what you need from the container because you have to examine both the ball end color and determine whether the string is wound or plain to know what gauge it is.

My favorite strongs on planet earth!
Feel: If you're reading this you're probably not one of those "coated strings suck" snobs. But if you are, let me say these strings don't behave like coated strings, except for their playability and longevity aspect. They feel sleek, slippery, but not artificially so. Even the non-wound high strings stay slippery, they don't get that chunky, rusty feel after a couple weeks, they are a real pleasure to play! Stability & longevity: I've been playing for about 30 years, and I don't notice any tuning issues that I didn't notice with other strings, coated or not, so as far as I can tell stability isn't an issue. I used to use Elixirs (for longevity) but the last 2 or 3 years it's only D'Addario XS for me, for acoustics and electrics. No joke, I got 1.5 years out of these on my acoustic. Granted I don't play it every day, but weekly, yes. I regularly get 5 or 6 months on my electrics which I play nearly daily. YMMV as with anything, but I'm telling you these are the real deal, there is no better string at the time of this writing, in my humble opinion. Sound: Electric sound- who cares; there's so much more to your sound than the strings on an electric, so play strings that feel good and last, agree with me or not but that's my advice. Acoustic sound- well, if you're a sound snob for your acoustics, you may -or may not- like these. They don't seem as bright and nasally as Elixirs, but they are bright and crisp, for what I like my acoustics to sounds like they're perfect for me. If you have a spruce top, you may think they're extra bright, my main one is solid mahogany so they work wonderful. Again, YMMV if you seek a specific sound from acoustic strings based on your guitar's wood or top type.

Great strings
I like these strings a lot, similar to Elixir strings. They feel and sound great. The only issue I have is with the packaging. Its very expensive looking but the strings themselves are all thrown together in one wrapper. I'd rather have the strings individually wrapped then a flashy package.

Same feel and quality as the elixir strings. They feel exactly the same.
I was looking for a set of strings. I had gotten a Guitar with a 24 3/4 scale with a Floyd rose. I put a set of 9 through 42. They were too slinky so I tried 10 through 46. Those were too stiff but I tried this set 9.5 through 44. It was perfect and it has the same coating as the elixir same feel everything 100%.
