Cheap and Effective!
Stops the aftershave bleeding really well especially if you use cheap razors! I highly recommend it for low budget shaving people like myself. 👍

Just in the 'nick' of time for travel
This is a perfect item for home, or better yet, for travel. Small size, but highly effective at stopping the bleeding from razor nicks. Priced right and ships fast.

Essential for Every Shaving Kit—Especially for Travel
I’ve been using Clubman Pinaud products for years, and this little styptic pencil lives up to their reputation. I bought the travel size to keep in my dopp kit, and it’s been a lifesaver more than once. If you’re prone to the occasional nick while shaving, this pencil stops the bleeding almost instantly. You just wet the tip and dab it on the cut—yes, it stings for a second, but that’s par for the course. The pencil itself is solid and lasts a long time, even with regular use. The size is small enough to fit in a toiletry bag without taking up space, and it doesn't crumble like some generic ones I've tried. My only complaint is that the plastic cap feels a bit flimsy—if you're rough with your luggage, maybe keep it in a zippered pouch so it doesn't break. Overall, this is a must-have item for anyone who shaves, especially if you travel often. Reliable, effective, and cheap. Highly recommended. Pros: Compact and perfect for travel Works instantly to stop bleeding from small cuts Affordable and lasts a long time Easy to use, no mess Trusted brand with a long history Cons: Can sting a bit on application (normal for styptic products) Cap could be a bit sturdier

Stops bleeding from nicks and cuts DEAD in its tracks! Awesome!
I recently had several nicks and cuts from shaving, and washing my face with exfoliates (I seem to have soft skin), that were just superficial surface tears in my skin, but would not just stop bleeding! I'm talking of dabbing at these cuts with tissues for like 1 hour and still having them bleed and bleed for that long. When this caused me to be late and have to cancel an important meeting, I started to search online for products that could help. Short story, this stuff works swiftly and wonderfully! I had a nick on my nose that had started to bleed, and applied this product to the affected area. Within literally 1 minute, the bleeding stopped entirely. The cut was so dry it was almost as if I had never been bleeding in the first place. It stung a bit when I applied it, but that to me is not a downside, rather that shows that the product is working and besides, I'd rather take a few seconds of stinging pain and complete ending of the bleeding so that you can get on with your business for the day, than having to stand in front of the bathroom mirror with a tissue for an hour trying to deal with a stupid cut. Excellent product, my only regret is that I hadn't known about it sooner.

Time tested item that's not so easy to find anymore. Burns like hell but stops the bleeding fast.

Excellent - just what I was looking for
So glad I found this. These Styptic Pencils are hard to find now in Los Angeles (I don't know why - neither CVS Drugs nor Rite Aid Drugstores carry them anymore). Thanks Amazon!

This is the best one I've used simply dampen the end and dab on the nick. This will not stop a heavy bleed though as it's only for shaving nicks. Leaves a chalky residue which can be wiped off after a minute or two. Pop the stick back in to the holder when finished I normally give mine a small rinse to get rid of the blood stain and a quick dab of tissue to dry it.. Received item very quickly and great value for the two.

Came to learn about styptic pencils fairly recently being a new convert to the DE razor scene. Can't believe I got to 50 years old without knowing about these miracles. Definitely get yourself one and keep it with your shaving gear, if you nick yourself wet the end, dab it on and Bob's your uncle :-)

Using blades to shave sometimes creates nicks that bleed. These Styptic Pencils stop the bleeding and does not allow blood to continue slowing from the cut or nick
