The pliers set will work for most snap ring removals. Different sizes of tips for very small rings 8mm and larger. Case is very durable with a quality made zipper. A quality set that will work for many years.

A good cheap set for a rarely used item
bought specifically to change out the shifter on my 2014 GR STI. Kit has 2 different sizes so it should fit most applications. I had to use the smaller one. One of the tips were bent and made taking out the snap ring difficult as it kept slipping. Took a pliers and bent it the other direction to get it to work. The material at the tip is thin so it does bend easily. Hopefully they work again for the next time I need to use it, but not sure if I would need to again
