This GE surge protector power strip is exactly what I was looking for, simple, sturdy, and reliable. The 6-foot cord gives plenty of reach without excess clutter, and the outlets are spaced well enough to accommodate larger plugs. It feels well made and secure, and I like the peace of mind knowing my electronics are protected from power surges. The on/off switch is easy to access and works smoothly. Overall, it’s a solid, no-nonsense power strip that does its job well and is perfect for home or office use.

I did review a lot of surge protectors to make sure they were not really low capacity in order to safely keep an electric water boiler/dispenser continually plugged in, but likewise allow for occasional concurrent use of fairly low wattage kitchen appliances. Certainly no space heaters or other high wattage appliances that are universally considered unsafe to plug into a power strip, but a small milk frother/warmer or similar. This appears perfect for such purposes and I feel safe using it in my kitchen. Of course one has to be very careful about keeping it distant from any liquids or possible splashes (including when you mop), but with such care in placement it should prove invaluable. Consider this if you are lacking sufficient (or optimally placed) wall outlets. I have long looked for GE to produce quality and safe electrical products. This looks to be up to that reputation.

A solid cord with plenty of length. My only negative is that the things I plug into the outlets don't seem stay in place, often coming loose. I use this cord for my computer power cord, and I finally took painter's tape and wrapped the plug firmly in place. Another option is trying to spread the prongs on the plugs a little farther apart, so that they plug in snugly. Not a bad cord at all -- but this issue (with everything I've plugged into it thus far) prevents me giving it 5 stars.

Very well made and convenient when needing to plug more than 2 items into one outlet. Sturdy cord and the light lets you know when the power is on.

I purchased this GE Surge Protector with 10-Foot Extension Cord to use with an immersion water heater we ordered to warm up cold bathwater after our water heater died during the big Texas freeze of 2021. (We went a month without hot water since water heaters were on back order everywhere.) The immersion heater draws a lot of electricity (1500W) and the nearest outlet was far from our bathtub, on the far wall past the sink; so we needed a reliable extension outlet...and this GE Surge Protector proved to be the perfect solution. (It's approved to handle up to 1800W and 120V.) I particularly appreciated the on/off switch on the surge protector, which made it easy to turn off power to the immersion heater when the water was warm enough, so I didn't have to worry about unplugging the device with wet hands. I also liked the surge protector's flat plug head and angled cord, which helped the cord easily clear the sink counter above which it was plugged. When using a surge protector/extension cord with a device that draws as much power as an immersion heater, it's important to make sure you only have one device plugged into the power strip and that the power strip is the only item plugged into that particular wall outlet. We only used one of the surge protector's outlets, and kept the other 5 outlet covers rotated to keep dust and water out of the sockets. As such, we never had a problem with the circuit being overloaded. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the performance of this GE Surge Protector/Extension Cord. It reliably handled several weeks of daily immersion heater use, with the immersion heater running for 1.5 to 2 hours for each bath, once or twice per day. Now that our water heater is repaired, I moved this surge protector to my office, where I have every confidence it will do an equally good job of protecting my computer and other electronic devices. And given the price, I think it's a great value! Highly recommended.

Well, it is a power bar. It is a well-known brand and reliable. It functions as a surge protector and hopefully does that job exceptionally. Currently I have an Xbox, a large TV, and a fan plugged into the bar and it has not disappointed yet. If you are looking for a safe bet on a quality power bar, I would recommend this product.

It's been maybe 7 months now and I've been using it to connect my adjustable standing desk to the outlet that can be turned on and off by the wall switch, and it's been perfect for it's job. Long enough to reach the other side of my room and I feel safe knowing it's power surge protected, so far so good.

Defective Power strip, caused circuit trip every time it was turned on! And can't even return it as we unfortunately tried it only after thr return had ended.

El cable es grueso y flexible, de muy buena calidad y longitud, los enchufes también funcionan perfecto y la opción de bloqueo es muy útil por seguridad y para que no se meta polvo o insectos, vale la pena su costo y el hecho de que la marca de garantía de por vida significa que esta muy bien hecho, hay que invertir en buenas conexiones eléctricas para no tener percances.

Tomada robusta, possui pequenos bloqueios para evitar curto circuito… excelente material
