Does the job. Easy install

I finally found an adapter which will allow you to connect a female end garden hose (available on Amazon) to this device. It is available at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09N6MM7JS?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details The float pipe screws into the female treaded end of the adapter which is ½” NPS (straight threads). Even though the included nuts would screw on either end of the pipe, I found that only the end with an internal hex shape would screw into this adapter. I needed to remove the pipe from the float and rotate it 180 degrees in order to make it work with the adapter. You also have to supply your own washer as the adapter does not come with one. You also need to use a female to female connector water hose which are available on Amazon.

Ive bought a couple of these. They do the job and haven't had any issues. Make sure to use some anti-seize on the threads.

Everything seemed to match what it looked like in the photo(s) that the seller uploaded on Amazon.com and, my package delivery arrived at my doorstep reasonably on-time. The bubble packaging wasn't damaged. Worked out well with SOMETHING ELSE THAT I NEEDED, FOR fixing my old 1997 DODGE motor vehicle. Thank You. :-)

This unit did not shut off fully at the lever's full action point. Looking inside you can see that the plunger does not completely fill the cavity and let's water through to full volume. Probably just a single defective unit so we'll try another

Arrived in a timely manner. Not fitted yet - but as above - it appears to be well made.

Needed to upgrade my dog's outside water bowl and this works for me. Be careful handling it, the brass threads have filings that are sharp! Needed a little thread tape to keep it from leaking. Otherwise, it's all good.
