It always took a little extra time to slide the strap into the belt buckle. This 1" version fit the receiver perfectly and once I adjusted it the first time, the snap on buckle was a major time saver and very convenient. The quality of the collar is excellent and the little bungee portion gives it a snug fit without choking my dog. Even though my dog is large (about 110 pounds), the strap is very long, which is not a problem for me. However, others may want to trim it if that bothers them. I've used this collar every day for a couple months and it shows no signs of wear at all.
