This is a very good beginner snorkel set. We take it everywhere we go. It’s easy to use, reliable, and perfect for travel. Great value for anyone just getting started.

This little kit was perfect for snorkeling in VI. Decent quality and affordable—much better than you’ll find in department stores and less money than renting, Flippers fit well without discomfort. The snorkel doesn’t let in water—perfect for beginners. You can dive under with it, just blow out the water when you resurface. The mask is tempered glass and has a film that will fog if you don’t treat it first. You have to melt the inside film off with a lighter. What’s not glass is silicone and won’t melt/burn. Then coat with white toothpaste and rinse. Our tour guide brought a solution of baby shampoo and water to rinse the inside masks and prevent fogging. You can also spit in it, but none of this will work until you remove the interior coating. My friend bought a set when we arrived on the island and it was bad all around—plastic mask that was hard to see through, painful flippers and a closed top snorkel that let in water. This isn’t pro quality but is really good quality that will last you longer than one vacation—just be sure to clean it after use. Fits a suitcase and comes with a little net bag.

worked great, looks good, We bought two and one snorkel leaked at first but then my husband tightened the part that was leaking and it performed wonderfully after that. Great Value and very comfortable to wear. Much better than others I've used. the mouth piece was comfortable and flexible to fit my small face. Light weight plastic.

Mask is fine, good for the $$. The snorkle is another story! I've been using snorkles my entire life and have always used the basic simple snorkles with no problem. Take the time and learn how to use a regular snorkle. The water stopper mechanism at the top of this snorke seriously restricts your air intake. So bad I started to hyperventilate and gasp for a full breath. I thought I forgot how to use a snorkle for a minute. I snapped the top off and went back into the water and had no problems. I could breath freely and no water getting in. My recommendation is to pass on this one and buy a long simple snorkle with no fancy mechanisms.,

Worked great! Fins made swimming so much easier and made our beach vacation that much more enjoyable. They are a little bulky and have a bit of weight. If you are trying to pack light that could be a concern. Despite that - they are worth their weight to bring in my opinion and much better than spending 10x the cost for them in a tourist trap.

I Purchased these for an 8 day trip to Oahu . We pretty much snorkeled every single day for at least two to three hours a day. These snorkel were awesome! The mask fit comfortably with its soft edges and did not leak even with facial hair. It did fog a little bit, maybe every 20 minutes but resolved with a little rinse out. It did last longer with one of the defogging methods, saliva, toothpaste etc. The snorkel worked perfectly like instructed. The dry top valve did not allow water in while diving under the water. No water came in while waves splashed over top of us. The silicone mouthpiece was comfortable even after hours of use. The lower purge valve worked flawlessly. Never had to come out of the water. Just returned to the surface and if any water did come inside just give it a little push of air and it clears. The release buckle came in handy when done for the day and storing the gear in the mesh bag. I purchased a case separately to keep the goggles safe and the quick release buckle was very convenient. The fins were a great fit and allowed a swift pace in the water. Was able to get from one end of Hanauma Bay to the other with no effort. I could keep up with the schools of fish just as I was one of them lol. Keeping up with the sea turtles took a little more effort. I did try bodyboarding with them but I found out pretty quick that Waimea Bay in December is not a great place to bodyboard with or without fins. Overall these snorkel set are perfect. They are even compact enough to fit 3 sets in a personal item bag under the seat on the airplane. I expect many more uses and as long as you take care of your gear it’ll last for years.

So far the mask leaks on everyone who's tried it, not around the edges where it touches the face, I can take it off invert it and submerge it upside down and watch it slowly fill up with water with bubbles escaping around the hard plastic where it meats the rubber. At first I thought it was my beard, gone, then I thought ok maybe my new goatee, gone, then after shaving a 3rd time to where my wife thinks I look to young for her... it still leaks. It leaks as well on her and she's never to my knowledge had a beard. But I like the fins and snorkel? They're GREAT!

I bought this just before a trip, I had doubts about the quality of the mask but I was surprised by how well it performed. The palms and snorkel are made of durable plastic and the mask only fogged up a few times.

The snorkel mask pressed my forehead too much.

We plan on using the snorkel gear for a planned trip to Turks and Caicos in the spring, and were not comfortable with the idea of using gear used by others. We had a warm end to summer so was able to try the gear out in the lake. Very pleased with the fit and the seal of the mask. It is a different style of snorkel than i've used before, but was quite comfortable with no water ingress if going below the surface. I would recommend.

I purchased this set for the shorter fins. We do a lot of snorkeling and I wanted something that is easy to carry in a floating bag. They fit better in my suitcase also. The fins are great. They are lighter than my long fins. They fit wide which works out great, I’m able to wear my water shoes inside so when we are entering or exiting the water my feet are protected. I’m really liking the panoramic view snorkel mask. I don’t seem to need it to be as tight fitting as my other mask which makes it easier to put on and take off with out pulling my hair out. I’m on the fence with the snorkel. I do like the clip to attach it to the mask. I haven’t been using the gear bag as I use a floating back pack. The gear bag is mesh on one side and clear plastic on the other side. I will probable just use it for storage.
