I wanted 100% flax linen for the health benefits and these did not disappoint. They appear to be good quality flax and I am happy with my purchase. I use one every morning when I do a cold splash on my face. Seems silly to do something healthy (cold shock), then use something unhealthy to dry my face. These 100% flax linen cloths keep the health benefits going. If you are not familiar with pure linen, don't expect them to mop up large spills like a cotton towel. They don't. But, they are healthy for your skin if you are using them to wash your face, they dry pretty quick, and will get softer (not that they are overly rough) in time. Do keep in mind they will likely shrink some in the dryer (nature of the material), but, I dry mine on air dry and they have remained the same size so far.

I took a picture of the size of these wash cloths after laundering. They are considerably smaller than standard wash cloths. I was looking for a thin but durable cloth for washing my face that would not retain soap/dirt and would dry quickly. These are awesome for that purpose. If you are looking for the ultra soft, thick feel of a luxury wash cloth you’ll be disappointed.

These cloths don't stand up to washing, and the scratchy texture gets worse with wear.

I made the switch to linen washcloths and thin cotton turkish bath towels recently, to cut down on my laundry loads. These washcloths are thin, absorb well, hold soap very well when using (I lather them with bar soap in the shower), and act as a mild exfoliator on my skin. My only criticism is that they shrink a bit after washing, so I wish they were a few inches larger to compensate for that. I recommend these cloths.

I love it. It looks all crinkled after washing first which makes it rather lovely to see hanging by the tub, almost suggesting another time and place. Drying off after my shower was a big surprise. I had used the edge a couple of times during the shower to dry my eyes and that left big wet spots, but when I turned the water off and set to drying off the rest of me, this towel absorbed the water so much more quickly than the microfiber towels with which I had replaced my big fluffy cotton terry towels. All without getting soaked. Linen is amazing. Why did it take me so long to discover this? Linen IS having a moment in the spotlight now. The wash cloths are really quite nice too and I see them replacing several other bath tools because of their rather pleasant exfoliation from face to feet. Excellent purchase!!!

Why Amazon wouldn’t post my other review, I have no idea. Can’t say a product is awful?These are awful. They shrunk to half the size they were when they arrived. Didn’t even dry them. Just hand washed because they were so rough (like burlap). Smaller than a tissue after washing. See pics

perfect face cloth! just the right amount of texture for gentle exfoliation and cleansing. I love that they have a loop for hanging.

These are great. I had some of the flat napkins from this company and had been using them as face cloths for awhile. I liked them because they gave my face some exfoliation, they are quick dry, and they don't seem to get musty, etc. When I saw these waffle ones that are actually designed to be face cloths, I jumped at the chance to buy. They have lived up to their name. They hold more water than the flat linen cloths, but that's what I want in a face cloth. They are also quick dry, and non musty, just like the old ones, and they seem to gently exfoliate my skin. They are great, and I'll probably keep using them for the foreseeable future.

Just arrived but they look great for the money, feel soft which is what i want.
