I’ve seen capri tools for a long time but this is the first thing I bought in the capri line. I bought these because I needed some extra shallow sockets in 1/2 inch drive. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money because I really only needed 4 sizes to address a problem on a new fleet of vehicles. Let me say, I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of these sockets. After seeing these and using them, I would definitely buy more tools from capri

This set is a really good starter set. Its build quality is good. Size is perfect for tight areas. Only down side, the outer edge of the sockets are smooth unlike an Astro set of the similar type. Good little set to have around, I usually travel with set in the SAE and metric version and it’s never let me down attached to a Milwaukee impact. I’ve hammered them on and off bolts, no issues whatsoever. Foam holder is good for tool box storage, not so much for a travel bag which I just bought a socket holder.

Much need low-profile socket to get into places my regular size ones don't. Well-made and very durable. I have used these Capri sockets religiously at the auto shop I work at and have not been disappointed in my purchase. Plus, they are so much cheaper than the tool truck brands for similar quality.

These are definitely high quality. But honestly, I expected to use them more often for tight spots, but these are only maybe 6mm or so less tall than my basic sockets. I will be buying another low profile set from a different brand that’s actually less tall for those very tight spot jobs and that have a hex head for a wrench to fit onto.

I'm a dealership tech, these were just was I hoping for, and they've saved the day twice already!! Love the foam tray, the no-skip sizing, and they will clearly be the last set of these type of sockets I'll ever have to buy.

Der erste Eindruck ist super. Wer kennt es nicht, dass man keinen Platz für den Standart 1/2" Schlagschrauber hat? (In meinem Fall ein Akku Schlagschrauber.) Deswegen habe ich mir einen 3/8" Akkuschlagschrauber zugelegt. Soweit so gut. Also musste auch ein neuer Steckschlüsselsatz in 3/8" her, der auch für den Schlagschrauber ausgelegt ist. Und ohne fehlende größen ist. Das erwies sich zunächst aber nicht so ganz einfach, bis ich dann auf die Capri Tools Steckschlüssel gestoßen bin. Die Steckschlüssel sind durchgängig von 8- 22 mm und aus Chrom Molybdän Stahl gefertigt. Und somit auch richtig für den Schlagschrauber Einsatz geeignet, und nicht nur so Pseudo möchtegern Karft- Steckschlüssel, damit man sie besser verkaufen kann. Es gibt den Satz im Grunde in 4 längen. (Stubby, shallow, semi Deep & Deep.) Da ich die 3/8" ja für beengte Platzverhältnisse gekauft habe, habe ich mich für die gekürzten Stubby's entschieden. Mit nur 22mm +/- 0.2mm sind sie deutlich kürzer als Standart 3/8" und sogar noch einen Ticken kürzer als 1/4" Steckschlüssel. Ich habe da mal ein paar Vergleichsbilder gemacht mit 1/2" Standart mit rund 38mm länge 3/8" Standart mit rund 28-32 mm länge 1/4" Standart mit rund 25mm länge Und den Capri Tools mit rund 22mm länge. Die Schlüsselweiten sind auf der einen Seite aufgelasert und auf der anderen Seite deutlich erkennbar eingraviert. Geliefert werden zumindest die Stubby's in einem Schaumstoff Organizer, wo die Schlüsselgrößen dann auch nochmal extra eingraviert sind. Schade finde ich es etwas, dass es keinen Koffer dazu gibt. So habe ich sie jetzt aber zum Akku- Schlagschrauber mit in die L- Boxx gepackt. Die Wandungen sind Kraftschlüssel typisch dick ausgelegt. Zuerst dachte ich dass man die kleinen größen nochmal etwas kürzer hätteachen können. Bei genauerem Betracht, würde dann aber wahrscheinlich die Haltbarkeit sehr darunter leiden. Weil dann einfach zu wenig Material zwischen der Vierkant und der Sechskant Aufnahme vorhanden wär. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, das kommt dann aber noch.

Very nice to use work well something to consider because they are so short sometimes the square from the ratchet or impact sticks through but unbeatable compact form

Good size for very tight spots when working on cars

Fantastic quality set of compact impact sockets that get into the tightest nooks when doing brakes or suspension work. Unlike some small low profile sockets that don't fully engage the entire bolt, each of the the Capri Stubby sockets are just the right depth to have the maximum surface contact and help prevent rounding or stripping of the bolt head. I couldn't be any more pleased with these sockets!
