Every time I've tried to make piña coladas it's tasted awful, turns out this is the exact ingredient I was missing!!! Looks really unappealing in the can but tastes great and makes a perfect addition to cocktails and smoothies.

Coco Lopez always prides itself for being the ultimate ingredient for pina coladas, especially in America and they were not kidding. This is very delicious and very sweet. When you open the can it looks a bit weird and unpleasant as the ingredients such as the water and cream would naturally separate, but when you mix it with a spoon for a couple of minutes they will combine and all will be fine. This is simply condensed cream made from coconut and it contains quite a lot of sugar, so unless you are hosting a large party and have so many drink orders, I would highly advise using only a small amount of the contents for one drink and mixing it well with other ingredients. It is perfect for making good cocktails or mocktails such as Pina Coladas or Mai Tai together with their non alcoholic alternatives, (note that this can contains no alcohol, so it is safe for kids too). If you are not making drinks, this item is also very useful to make good cakes or various desserts out of, when you look up the recipes online or in books. Regardless of what trolls or critics say, this is a wonderful versiltile product to have in your cupboard to make great coconut flavoured food or drinks.

My family absolutely loves the pina coladas from a restaurant we visit and we managed to get hold of the recipe which used Coco Lopez instead of shop brand coconut cream. Before this, our cocktails were not great and didn’t taste at all like what we had hoped, and this is what we were missing! One can made around 12 drinks and whilst it is on the more expensive side, it was definitely worth it for the amazing drinks we got out of it!

If you luv Pina Colada's and want to make them as tasty as possible, then this is the stuff. 1 can is enough for around 12 Pina Colada's so not overly expensive if you use all the can within the week. For each cocktail I use 6 ice cubes, quarter frozen pineapple (if you've time to freeze it, good wee glug of either fresh pineapple juice or M&S Pina Colada juice, 50ml of Koko Kanu and a drop of Baileys Pina Colada I bought by chance. A wee squeeze of lime also, 10 seconds in the bullitt and oh my Lord, ive forgotten about the cocktails from holiday now lol
