I recently lost my little Tajima tape measure which costed me 34 dollars. Fortunately, I stumbled upon this tape measure. At first I was skeptical because there were barely nonsponsored reviews of it and it’s a Chinese company. But I had one of their scissors which was good so I decided why not; especially because it was cheap too. This is a very small tape measure, has a wrist strap, has two circle magnets on the hook which is exactly what the Tajima had. This is ideal because it’s easier to clean little metal bits that get stuck out and it has magnets on the back of the hook to give it a stronger hook. It was also smooth, accurate, the lock was easy to move around, and the retractibility was very good; not too weak, not too strong. Durability wise, I haven’t had it for that long but it’s holding up well. Just be gentle when retracting so that you don’t hit something with your hook, causing bends Overall, it functions exactly like my Tajima at the third of the price and I will keep buying this if I lose it again. WOOHOO

Love the markings. I would be remiss if it did not say that I love them too. Husband is always calling out these .../16th measurements and I am always trying to find that mark on the tape measure. Well, no more!! I can easily find it and give accurate measurements instead of "a little over a 1/2 inch". Also, the younger members of the family can help Dad and feel good that they too can give exact measurements. I highly recommend these at a great price.

Very sturdy and durable. The traction on the tape is smooth. Love the magnetic tip. Only downside is there are no metric measurements. The blue color is so pretty too!

Very nice, not too heavy and the magnet isn’t too strong but just right when measuring a larger width. Will buy shading if these wear out.

I have had good luck with these tape measures. I came back here to get these for my wife for Christmas. I don't know if these have them but the other ones I bought had a wrist strap on them which I found got in the way of the blade when using it around the chop saw. I have had mine for over a year and I have stretched them out numerous times to the full 12 feet without any issues. I have always had problems with other tapes that way- even brand new out of the box. My boss at work even borrowed it at work as it was easy to read the lines for accurately measuring wood coming out of the planer. The magnet is a bonus. I have used it to measure metal objects and it grabs right on. What really saved me was when I dropped a bolt down deep into the engine compartment of my truck, I was able to use the magnet on the end of the tape to fish it right out without having to remove the engine to get to it. I do a lot of furniture making and construction so they get a lot of use.
