Q: Is this safe to use for keratin-treated hair?

I had not problem with it. It is very good for your body as well.

Q: Is it supposed to come sealed?

this jar should come with an inner plastic seal. If it does not, I will send back as well.

I've only used it once on my hair. I use it all the time on my legs & feet. It feels great to scrub your knees, ankles and heals with it! Smells so good!!!
