I'm not sure where it is made, the company is in NY but doesn't give contact info on their Amazon page. This is a high-quality product and I use it frequently with my 85# Pit. I have other items from this company and am delighted with all of them.

Q: is the carabiner a good, sturdy one ? Some of them are so poorly made, I'm afraid to trust them.

It’s been great for me! It feels more sturdy than other leashes I have with a carabiner. I was pretty skeptical too, but it’s a lot better than it looks. Hope this is helpful!

Best short leash

I typically don’t write reviews, but I needed to write this one. After 6+ months of heavy use, this short leash is holding up quite well for a heavy pulling dog. The carabiner is solid and strong and the leather is thick and soft. For reference, I have a 150# Caucasian Shepherd that constantly likes to intimidate anything that seems to threaten him by launching forward aggressively. This leash has been awesome for such occasions. Well worth it
