Not all USB-C to HDMi adapters are created equal.
I have gone through a lot of these style of USB-C to HDMI and hub adapters. Since they all visually look the same you wouldn't think of much difference however most that I've tried can only output 60hz refresh rate from a MacBook to my 144hz Dell monitor. This adapter works flawlessly giving me 144hz at 1440p as well as proper passthrough charging. So my MacBook can sit on a vertical stand while charging and outputting proper video.

発熱が大きく，接続している機器が動かなくなる！
購入して，４ヶ月で使えなくなった．USBに接続すると，このハブは非常に熱くなり，接続した周辺機器が，認識しなくなる．初めは，気づかず．PCをリスタートしたりしていたが，このハブ自体に大きな問題があることがわかった．拡張外付けSSDも読み込まなくなる． 値段も相応にするのだから，メーカーには，きちんとした商品をだしてほしいし，保証期間をきちんとつけて欲しい．

Solid Performance from this little guy
I have a Dell Precision 5560, but it only has 3 USB-C ports, and I have lots of things to connect, i.e., mic, webcam, 2 external SSDs, 4K monitor and a 1080p monitor. Mouse and keyboard are connected via Bluetooth. Previously purchased a MOKiN 12-port USB-C hub, thinking it would cover my needs, but it was crashing my external SSD's. Also, the power pass-thru only supports 100W, the Dell's power supply is 130W, so when you plug it in, you get a message that performance will be impacted. That's a no-go. Not an issue with MOKiN, all the USB-C hubs seem to have this limitation. Returned the MOKiN and got this one. Had to use one of the laptop's USB-C ports for power, leaving 2 remaining. One was used for my 4K monitor, the other for the CableCreation hub. SSD's work great with no issues. Still needed one more USB 3.0 port, so I daisy-chained a 4-port USB 3.0 hub I already had. OK, maybe a bit hokey, but it works. Be aware that some other USB-C hubs may limit 4K displays to 30Hz which will make things look jittery when you move windows around or scroll in your browser.
