Pet Lou 00466 Colossal Dog Chew Toy, 20-Inch Monkey Stick

My Doxie LOvEs this toy. It is as big and long as she is. She drags it all over the 🏠 house. I wash it all the time. Sometimes I have to see up a small tear usually in the arms but it is a great toy. It's the fabric texture that dogs seem to like. This is another "Top Ten Dog Toy" from my dog store. (Read my reviews about the Hedge Hogz series made by Outward Hound). Every night before bed, our dog drags his monkey onto the couch and sucks on its head like a pacifier until he falls asleep. He loves it so much, it is far and away his favorite thing on earth!

This is the second one I've had. My dogs love the first one so much I had to get a "back up'. The dogs love the different sounds it makes and one dog loves to sleep on it. So cute and pretty durable for a soft toy.

My dogs love this. This is my third one in 20 years. I have had four Shihtzus and they hVe all loved this monkey I do nothing know why they really do. They are small dogs so it’s so funny seeing this small dog run around w a big toy!

This is my dog’s absolute favorite toy. He pounces on it. He carries it around the house. He shares his treats with. He has a very special monogamous relationship with it. But he also likes to rip it apart. I think he’s gone through at least 10 of them in the last 6 years. I hope Pet Lou never discontinues this thing.

Lots of boops, squeaks and laughs! The ears are not only delicious, they lead to internal stuffing! But this toy was worth suturing to live another day/week/year...!

We have a German Shepherd and a little Westie and they fought over this toy from the start, and I should mention this monkey was probably BIGGER than our 14lb Westie and she still loved it! Unfortunately, the monkey only lasted about 24 hours because the material was very easily torn apart. I liked that the squeaker was not one of the annoying high pitched ones and I think that was some of the appeal for our dogs...just wish the toy was a little (or a lot) more durable.

This is our third purchase of this chew toy. The first was BIG and STURDY. We thought way too big for our little dog but it ended up being her favorite toy. The next one seemed to be a little slimmer, not much but noticeable. This last purchase for our dog's Christmas present is MUCH slimmed down, shorter and worst of all less sweekers. The one in the nose is no longer. Still the same price but less product. If you have not purchased this before, hey no loss. For me and my dog maybe we shop around after she destroys this one. Update!! Gave this chew toy to our 15 pound dog Christmas morning. Nine days later (Jan 2) the head came off at the throat. We have officially wasted our money on this product. The original product from a yer ago lasted 6 months. If you have a desire to waste your money buy this otherwise be like me and start shopping for something else.

This was my dog’s favourite toy. But my dog was able to pluck out big chunks of the fake fur and eat it. It is not dog safe as it claims. $350 at the vet later, I discarded the toy. It made her very ill. Only let your dog use this toy when you are watching it.
