It is quite difficult to wash when it is oily.

Terrible , read amazing reviews but have had two of these break within three months , one at the hinge and the other at the lock

We have the sage green one as well as this one. Both are great. Easy to maintain, good quality and cute.

I was super excited to receive my Bentgo products. I was buying a kids bento as a gift and didn’t know they have the modern collection. I have tried looking for a bento for myself in the past but they were designed more for kids or too flimsy. Wow! The quality on this is amazing. I fell in love with the colour so much so that I bought the matching salad bowl too. Both the glass salad bowl and bento match my simply modern water bottle as you can see in the picture. The tray is quite deep and can be pulled out for easy washing and reheating (no more than 3min as per printed on the actual container). I can’t comment on it being leak-proof because I usually do sandwiches, veggie sticks and fruit. No dips. But the seal on the lid looks to be good quality as well. Lastly, not too heavy either!
