The current of the water lifts it up on one side is there a way to keep it in place ...flat on the bottem

The mat should remain between the pool liner and the ladder protecting the pool liner and helping to stabilize the ladder during use. There is no adhesive or anything to keep the mat in place. Since the thickness of the mat is not very thick, can I use 2 mats on top of each other for added protection/thickness? Or is it available thicker?

Really nice mat! It’s plenty large enough for my pool steps, and seems to be made of good quality. It wasn’t thin at all. My steps do not slide at all, and I don’t have to worry about them damaging my pool vinyl.
