Honda Genuine 08703-NH797MAH-A1 Modern Steel Metallic Touch-Up Paint Pen (.44 fl oz, Paint Code: NH797M)

I had many tiny scratches on my Honda’s driver side door and this made them disappear! So easy to use and a perfect match! It has a rust scraper, your paint color and a clear coat gloss. The trick to applying is only use a small amount. You can add another coat the next day if you have to then the gloss.

From several sources, the Modern Steel Metallic color is supposed to match the Shark Grey of my Acura's A-Spec wheels, and upon opening the bottle, the color looks about right. However, the brush is defective, with a section of bristles sticking out at over 45 degrees part way up the brush stem. When I do need to touch up my wheels, if I can't get the sticking out bristles to go back into the stem, I'll likely just snip them off, but this shouldn't happen on a relatively pricey product from Honda.

Read this would be a match for Acura ASpec rims...and it is! I have a 2022...matched my rims perfectly. Shake it up well, start the paint running on some cardboard, then touch up and let it dry. My issue happened to be a little curb rash, all I did was apply the paint over the roughed up metal after cleaning the rim well...it's almost undetectable now unless you're up close and know it's there.

Exact Match for 2020 Acura ILX. Remember that an Acura is a nice nice Honda so this was exact to my Acura ILX. Great quality paint at an OEM value and it looks and dries super fast. The metallic finish is a perfect match which works well considering that an off beat color will not give you the finish quality or coverage. We used this to touch up a full-on rock chip and it was on the money.

This is a perfect paint match for my wheels on my 2023 Acura TLX. It covered the scratches very well and dried quickly.

Just a heads up: this product is much darker than my vehicle, which are both listed as modern steel metallic. In fact, it is almost black. I even looked up the color code listed on the package, which confirmed it is supposed to be modern steel metallic. In doing that, I saw another blog also saying their "modern steel metallic" Honda paint pen was much darker than their vehicle and looks worse/more obvious than the scratch itself. That being said, if your vehicle is a greyish color, I would avoid buying this product, because it likely will not match. Also, if you do happen to cross your fingers and buy it in the hopes it will match your modern steel metallic vehicle, you should know it is nonrefundable.

It was not the -A1 code that is advertised in both the picture and description, but it matches my 2018 Accord well.
