Thomas Dudley Vantage Single Flush 73.5mm Chrome Toilet Push Button 313085, Multi-Colour

Bought as a replacement for the existing button which fell apart after many years. Thought it would be difficult to replace but this was an absolutely perfect, near identical part. Took literally 2 minutes to fit and seems to be well made and robust.

I feel flushed with success having got to the bottom of my problem flush. Bought to replace broken one. It is the whole flushing valve mechanism despite the fact that only the “chrome” (plastic) push is pictured. By a masterful design which means that the 2 thin plastic guides, which keep the push button heading straight down the valve, will inevitably fracture sometime down the road, the company ensures a constant market for replacements. All plastic therefore way overpriced for what it is, but the alternative is a bucket of water.......

Fairly easy to fit, would buy again

I have very little DIY skill, but even I was able to install this. Just removed the plastic tube, twisted out the failed push button from the plastic fitting on the other side of the facing board it was attached to, and then twisted in place the new button to the new mounting, reattached the plastic tubing - job done! So pleased I bought this and saved myself a huge sum from not needing a plumber. Precisely zero tools needed - so easy! The only tiny issue I'd raise is regards the seller, who didn't even wrap the unit in bubblewrap - it just came as is without any protective packaging (or even the original box). I was lucky it survived the post intact, but for the few pence to at least give the product some basic protection in the post it seems an easy thing to do and save the bother of having to deal with customers seeking refunds due to it not arriving intact...great product though, very happy :)

I thought my Previous purchase was broken so ordered again, it turned out it was the valve that was broken. Item returned. Good quality though
