Took a gamble on this one and it is a home run. Liked it so much I ordered their exercise bands (during Black Friday sale), too. The exercises are well tailored and varied. Not only do I feel the strength in my golf swing after a few weeks of use, but it’s helping my running. Asymmetric resistance is the key and I can see using this equipment for many years. All the equipment seems high quality and will last. Give it a try, and you’ll feel the difference in just a few weeks.

Been using now for about 6 weeks everyday. 35 year old man. 1. I have dealt with bad back pain and hip tightness for years that limited my ability to play. Within 6 weeks of daily use I'm no less than 80% better. 2. My game has truly improved - best score I've ever gotten prior to injury was 89 - post injury I was struggling to break 100 - this last 2 weeks I have shot Two 86's and a 92. For golf it's amazing but even if I wasn't a golfer and just looking to improve injuries OR just strengthen body in full I would 100% still get this and use. I purchased the GolfForever system about 2 weeks ago. It came with everything as advertised: Pole, 2 plastic ball weights, Bungee with plastic carabiners on each end, handles for bungee cord, door anchor, bag and cards with QR codes for signing up. I logged into the app and had to give my credit card information and signed up for the app, which I can cancel through the phone app before the 30 days so I don’t get charged the $24.99/month or $199.00/year charge for using the app. The app is well done with a dashboard of your progress and links to your daily workout or the library of videos. Pretty easy to navigate and use. One of the cool things is they give you a way to evaluate yourself at the beginning and tailor your workouts to your level of fitness and flexibility. I have 2 phones, one personal Android device and my work phone which is an iPhone. I loaded up the GolfForever app on my Android device first. I tried to connect it to my TV for the first workout and couldn’t make it work, so I worked out from my phone. This works but isn’t ideal. For my second workout, I downloaded the app to my iPhone, logged in, and connected easily to my LG TV that has Airplay. This was much better! Until my phone went to sleep. It turns out, that when the app gets interrupted, the video you are watching goes back to the beginning of the video. There is no way to fast forward from the phone or from the TV. Oh, it will look like you are fast forwarding, until you hit play and then it goes back to where it was before you started fast forwarding. Very frustrating!!!! I submitted an email to them just now and will be interested in seeing how they handle it. Will follow up. Overall, it is a pretty good system. Time will tell how the plastic components hold up. Not thrilled about the cost of the app, but the app and the workouts are nice. I will likely pay for the first year and we will see if I stick with it and the workouts actually help my fitness and/or play better golf.

First the bad news, it's not only expensive, the default renewal fee for the app is the yearly rate ($200) not the monthly rate ($25). Once your trail ends and you enter into a contract, you can't get a refund. So if you only want to try this out for a few months, then you should change your account's renewal from annual to monthly BEFORE your trial runs out. The good news is that the product is top notch. Quality hardware and software. I have a projector in my golf room, so I use the website to follow along. Nice big picture on the wall, which is much more fun that trying to follow along on my tablet. It's like having a personal trainer in the privacy of your own home for just $25 a month. Excellent instruction. I highly recommend this product if want to consistently workout and get more strength and flexibility.

I liked how this training aid has videos on YouTube that you can watch and perform the workouts. I bought this aid with the hope of refining my golf swing because after an injury my handicap has risen from a 3.5 to a 5 handicap. So after training with the Golf Forever aid for 2 months I believe that my golf will improve to the point of getting back to a 3 handicap or lower. My 3 iron is now 50 yards longer than one of my playing partners & we used to be about the same distance with our irons. I’ve also encountered playing in nasty weather in Florida this past weekend but I still scored well. My golf swing is now more battle tested under rainy conditions, windy conditions, & cold weather conditions. Thanks to this training aid I’m looking forward to this upcoming golf season. I’m so excited about going lower this year and winning more skins money from my golf buddies. :) Game Over!!!! Update! I noticed that a reviewer below my post mentioned how you get more bang for your Buck by purchasing Forever Golf aid from Dick’s or directly from Forever Golf. So I looked into this and I found out that he’s right. They throw in extra pieces and an extra band. Oh, well. It pays to do your homework before buying anything. I think we sometimes get caught up with trusting Amazon & enjoying the convenience of shopping with them. But they don’t always have the best prices. And now we know.

So this is a great training tool and program to help you with your golf swing and overall fitness. The product is very well made and is quality! The program is on the expensive side ($200 for equipment and $200 a year for custom programs) but it has been worth it so far. I’ve added 5 mph to my club head speed and I look forward to doing the suggested daily training. You can use it anywhere. Very satisfied with the product and program. Highly recommend if you are serious about improving your golf swing.

The GolfForever Swing Trainer offers a nice customized strength, and flexibility program geared specifically to improving your golf swing and thereby increasing your enjoyment (and longevity) of your game. I specifically ordered this to help with my recovery following a surgery and to improve golf specific strength and fitness as I age further into my senior years (for reference I am 70 years old but have been fairly athletic for most of my life). The details, schedule and type of the instructional exercise program is customized to your initial evaluation results and questions you answer in the GolfForever app regarding your goals and preferences. TBH, as I have just begun the program, I cannot yet say if any improvements in my physicality have actually translated to improvements in my actual golf game (i.e. scoring), but improved strength and flexibility can only be a good thing. The training apparatus is well made and allows for the ability to use the device which is composed mainly of a bar/stick coupled with a resistance elastic. All the components are well made and packaged. Other components include a weighted ball attachment which is used for various swing speed training. The instruction quality seems to be good (it is used by some PGA pros as well as some fitness gyms specializing in golf specific fitness) and the nice thing about the instruction is that it varies enough to keep you from getting bored (and as previously mentioned, is customized for your initial evaluation fitness level and your goals for improvement). Although the quality of the hardware is nice, the price of the trainer is quite expensive making this a fair value for the cost only IF you actually see measurable benefits to your game which at this point I have not (in terms of scoring). The yearly cost for using the app rivals that of some lower priced gym memberships although you do have the convenience of being able to use this trainer at home or even on the range for warming up (it comes with a carry bag. Speaking of using this at home, you need a significant amount of space for several of the exercises and since one of the anchoring methods utilizes a door jam attachment, you will also need a door in a very specific relationship to your open space in order to use this indoors. I have found that this is not so easy to find in my home as most doorways are not located in the middle of a room wall, rather they tend to be located more towards a corner of a room. For this reason, I have had to resort attaching the resistance cord by looping it around a very stable metal stairway bannister. You could place an anchor into a stud if you have a dedicated exercise room. Because of these limitations and the initial cost and the monthly/yearly cost of continued “membership” to use the app, at this point I can only give this 3 stars.

It would be good if they could stand by quality. I have had it less than a year, and the middle band broke. You get a light band, I started with that for a few months and you get a middle band. I graduated to the middle band recently and after only a few sessions, it broke whilst using it. Not being able to return the middle band, to me, means the product breaks easily and is combined with a short term return policy. I would have loved the product otherwise but if they cannot stand by it for more than a month or so (less than a year), neither should I.
