Stream Deck Pedal, 3 Hands-Free Macro Footswitches

I'll start off my review by saying I have the stream deck+ and after figuring it out (the software and what was needed to set things up as a not SUPER tech savvy individual) I appreciate the integration and quality... I work from home at a computer for 40 hours a week and am a hoby gamer and before any of this even started I had an ulnar nerve release due to cubital tunnel... 6+ years later and I have something called double crush syndrome (all of my wrist nerves are highly angered from all the clicking and typing) and I needed to start mitigating some of the repeating clicking and whatnot that I do all day long so I looked into the macro pads and started off with a third party brand before giving into Elgato. Heres the thing: its a slight learning curve (though there are MANY videos online) to set up but in the long run has been a 200000000% game changer for me... The pedals are insanely awesome.... they can do SO MANY different things and have smart profile switching (which I saw some people having problems with but you actually need to have the customizer software closed in order for that feature to work on any of their devices that support it so maybe like me that could be some people's problem). i originally set them up to replace mouse clicks on my trackpad as I cant use touch to click because I click literally everything due to nerve damage and it works AMAZINGLY. Then I ended up setting them up to just control all of the stupid back and forth crud I do with my mouse. They flag and unflag faxes in outlook. enter the document saver in adobe. close and switch between tabs in chrome... I've only just started getting creative with them but seriously cannout recomend them enough... they come with several different springs to change out to if youd like different feels. theres also an included set of stoppers for the middle pedal if you just want to use the two outside ones... Its about the size of a notebook but a really good weight so it doesnt slide (even works on my carpet though ive since built a little block for it since my carpet is lumpy haha)... The included usb-c cable is so long I actually have it tied after I ran it through my monitor mount... its a premium product for the money you spend (I almost went for one of the other cheeper ones like I did the stream deck but knew better)... long story short: the possibilities are endless, its very well designed, and its fairly easy to set up and get working... If your looking for pedals for your computer Id skip the other brands and save up for these guys. they work great with mac and windows!

Streaming? Purchase it. Why did I take so long to finally write a review? Because I wanted 'real world' usage before giving an opinion. I now own two pedals and they've save me a lot of time in my streams. They live up to the expectations one would have with their brand. They're quiet and only take a few minutes to set up with the provided USB cables. Functionality? They do what you need them to do. Worth it? Absolutely. The ease of programming them is just as simple as any other stream deck key. You can simply switch from scene to scene my tapping one of the three parts of the pedal. Or mute your mic. Or switch and activate whatever you need it to do. Endless options at the tip of your feet...

Love this product. Use it to grind on mmos and it works perfectly. Great customization and they give u everything you need in the box for it. Very easy to install and set up. I understand its pricey but worth the cost if you use it enough.

I picked this up mainly to use as a push-to-talk button for Discord and in-game chat, and it’s been awesome. Setup was super easy, and it just works without any hiccups. Being able to keep my hands free during intense moments in games or while multitasking has been a game changer. The pedal feels solid and responsive, and I like that it has multiple programmable zones if I ever want to expand how I use it. If you’re looking for a hands-free way to stay connected, this thing is totally worth it.

I had cheaper generic pedals and they work but these are so much better, the added weight and sturdiness means they don’t slide around on my carpet, the ability to make the springs stiffer or lighter to your taste, can rest the front of your foot on the base of the pedal without activating since it’s designed to press at the top not the bottom, the software is great, you can set profiles and link them to games so it changes when I run the game, even has a sensitivity slider.

I got this due to having nerve damage in my hand and trying to move some mouse and keyboard functions to my feet. The Elgato is the only pedal I found that had software that supported multiple functions for each pedal and different profiles, so it was really my only option. That said, what an option to be stuck with! The software is elegant in its simplicity and ease of use, the pedal was immediately recognised by my computer as soon as I plugged it in, and I am constantly finding more use cases for it as I go. I like that it came with a really good quality braided cable and extra springs so you can choose the tension you like on the pedal, and the plastic free packaging is a nice bonus. My only gripe, and it's a small one, is that when I have my rubber soled slippers on it can be difficult to figure out which pedal I have my foot on, but that's because of the nice compact design, so it's a fair trade-off.
