Acquaer Water Transfer Pump

This pump does what it says it does, but look at the 1/10 HP and be sure that's what you need. It is very slow, kind of like a small pond fountain. It's not even as fast as a garden hose connected to our house's hose bib. Not great for transferring large amounts of water quickly at all.

We needed a backsaving solution for quickly transporting our own fresh potable water to replenish our camper trailer when campground water is turned off or not available. We bought 4 seven gallon potable water containers and drove truck to central faucet to fill each of them. We returned to campsite, opened tailgate, and used this pump to quickly and with no lifting!!! to transfer the water into our camper's tank. We used our existing clean fresh water hose and our on/off filling hose tip to guide hose into camper tank. We did use 2 people just to mind the filling hose at the camper while pumping but could have rigged a tie up to hold the filling tip in place while one person operated pump. We made sure no propane was on in area of battery hookup. We followed the pump directions to wet the interior of the pump before pumping. The unit was about as loud as our RV water pump so we waited till after 8 am to run it for filling our camper tank just to be neighborly. This pump totally saved our backs from lifting 56 pounds of water jugs 4x! Loved it. Wish it had storage box.

It is as good as any other 1/10 hp water pump you can get. Under my circumstances I was only able to get a little over 2 gpm flow rate which was not adequate for my needs. I had a 3/4 outlet going into a 5/8 standard garden hose. This pump is a good price and it did lift the water but the flow rate was just nowhere near the 4.4 gpm advertised even under ideal conditions.

Works great, but way too heavy for easy use when pumping out water containers.

This is a great little pump, I've given it a real workout, and it's done a great job. Nice to have the spare parts included in the price.

I purchased the Acquaer Water Transfer Pump DC 12V 1/10HP for a small water removal job, but unfortunately, the pump does not work as expected. After properly connecting it to a 12V power source and following the instructions, the pump would not move any water. I double-checked the wiring and setup to make sure everything was installed correctly, but it still failed to operate properly. It would turn on but never actually transfer water. This was very disappointing, especially since it was needed for a time-sensitive job. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product due to reliability issues. I hope the manufacturer improves the quality control, as this could be a useful tool if it functioned properly.

This pump worked great. Better than I hoped for.

This unit was purchased to pump out water that overflowed a small dam in front of one of my doors should the water level reach my door seal. I have tested the pump with a battery and everything functioned according my expectations. Expected flooding should not last more than 2 hours and rise more than 2 inches above my door seal. Both the battery capacity and the pump meet those expectations.

After the first prime, this little pump always pumps which is important because we use it to pump water for our stock on our farm, running it from the battery on the pickup truck. Provides a stream of water as strong as what we get from the taps in the house. An amazing little unit, very impressive, would absolutely recommend.
