"As seen on TV" IS the gold standard for any product might consider buying. My old one was clogged and tired and the wife was calling for a replacement. This seemed to hit all the marks. I give it good value, it has a useful range of settings, it has the all-important magic second head and, glory be, has really useful pressure without any dodgy modifications. It IS plastic, but I certainly wasn't going to fork over a king's ransom for metal construction. It's a shower head, not a riding lawn mower. Wait...aren't those now made of plastic too? It was easy to install once you grokked the clampy nature of the attachment point. The instructions were clear and, voila! No leaks.

I regret that I will have to return the shower head because it is defective. I was excited when I opened the package because it had a nice weight to it & is pretty. One end of the hose went straight on but the other end absolutely wouldn't go on regardless of what I did. When I looked at it closer, I could see some marks on the end with the threads of the shower head itself & because it was plastic, it stopped the hose from being screwed as far up as it is suppose to go. I tried swapping ends just in case but nothing worked. What it is doing is not allowing you to screw to the top of the threads so the water leaks out of the hose a fair amount. I am going to try again just in case it was a quirky one because it is a nice shower head. Please note that it is a large shower head & you cannot use a shower shelf behind it, you will need a corner shower shelf if you need shelves. Update: I did return this shower head. Amazon sent a new one immediately & it worked as advertised. The shower head went straight together, no tools. They sent an extra washer & some tape just in case you need it (they did on the first one too). The water pressure is great out of both shower heads & there is plenty of water pressure from the pet & rinsing the shower down when needed. I am glad I replaced it & have changed my rating to 5 stars.

This AquaCare is a vast improvement over a similar model I bought 2 years ago, which leaked terribly, and I am very happy with it and definitely recommend it. Easy to install and operate, everything works smoothly, good choice of flows, and has excellent pressure, especially with the restricter out. Both showerheads have similar settings and both work well. Showering is wonderful, and my rating would be 5 stars but I have deducted 1 star for the only negative, the way the smaller head attaches to the main head. The attachment must be turned sideways to attach or remove it, and It is difficult to get it to hold tightly in place in a desired position where it doesn't partially block the flow from the main showerhead. Previous model had a better arrangement.

I have been using Amazon for just about everything for a really long time. This is the first time I felt compelled to write a review. This shower head is great and so easy to install. The pressure is great and much needed for my back pain. My last shower head I had I to take the accelerator out the pressure wasn’t good enough. This one is great, and I haven’t even tried all the settings yet. The handheld will be great for me to bathe my dog too. I stuck mine on the wall it’s much nicer that way for me. I can’t wait to take a shower again! :)

I was intriged by the design. Purchased and received product fast. I inspected the shower body. It was well built and heavy. Being some kind of injected plastic, I understood the bulk. The ball joint connection looked like it might be a problem. Many parts, water running through it. we'll see. Installation was straight forward. Only one extra small rubber "0" ring left over. Getting the threads of the "Lock Nut" and the "Body" aligned was tricky. Chance of stripping the plastic was a real concern. Finished and turned on. LEAKED!! at the the Ball to body connection. Tightening it more was not an option. The over engineered Ball joint was the problem. OK -- I removed the whole unit, put my old one back on. NOT at drop of leakage!! So -- Salvaged the Back Wall Bracket: Shower hose and extra Shower head. (I'll use these parts in my camper shower, if needed) Alternative shower head that I replaced and reinstalled from Amazon. Kiaying dual shower head. I bought two of these 2 years ago. No drips!! Clean with old toothbrush and Vinegar. Aqua Care Dual Head shower is intriguing but over engineered! Many parts and water = Leaks!!

I liked the first one is bought so much that I bought one for my second bathroom. Powerful water flow, nice design, easy to install. I wish it came with a longer hose, as my shower arm is higher up than most, but I can get a longer shower arm to fix this. Some reviewers complained of leaks. I did not have this problem.
