You have to keep picking at the white paper to get all of it off as it continues to stick & tear off until you're left with the smallest piece of paper (per my photo) that you still have to try to scrape off. I've not had this experience in the past at all. For the cost of this candy I expect a lot better quality, 4lbs is a lot of candy to be leary of especially when giving it to grandkids making sure all of the paper is off. 2 Star review as I'm not pleased.
