I’m surprised at how much I love this bowl. I bought one as a semi-joke gift (yet still practical) for my husband. His favorite old Texasware bowl shattered and I just wanted some sort of heavy plastic bowl with a splatter design. It’s durable, just the right size and so pretty! Much too pretty and pricy to be a garbage bowl, on my opinion, but I’m thinking of getting another.

Roomy, very sturdy. Nice nonslip ring around the bottom. The color is exactly as portrayed on the seller's sale page. $15 for this is a decent price. This will be super easy to wash. Its top level dishwasher safe, which is am added time saver that I appreciate. I wouldn't advise ever putting a Melamine bowl in the microwave, so I dont have any knowledge on how it does in there. Heating substances like this in the microwave tends to release nasty things into our food so, yeah. Dont stick these in the microwave, or the oven or any other heat producing cookery method, just for your own safety and the longevity of the bowl itself. I think my new "garbage bowl" and I aee going to be making many gorgeous loaves of bread together in the future! Now if the white one would just come down to $15, Id have that one too and it would match my kitchen decor. Its currently $20. *Crossing her fingers* Cmonnnn down, price!

Sturdy but does not table repeat bleaching well as it makes it brittle

It was a gift to my sister, she loves it. It’s great and convenient to use in the kitchen.

I had original blue one from first years Rachel had in her line and it lasted many many years. It had been in the dishwasher and even used with electric mixer with little to no scratching. I dropped the original just right on a glass bowl and it cracked towards the bottom. I love the turquoise color of the new one and looking at many many years of using it. I don’t have dishwasher anymore so it hand washes perfectly. These bowls are a great size and I love the more narrow at bottom and wider top. The bottom is no slip with rubber circle.

I am a regular viewer of RR's syndicated program. I don't pay much attention to the products she uses to create her goodies, but I have noticed the versatile "garbage" bowl. I am definitely someone who spends a lot of time at an increasingly disappearing counter as I clean and prep food for meals. The idea here is this is a great way to allow garbage to accumulate until work is done. You can eliminate a lot of trips to the garbage can or the composting pail. In my case that is in the backyard behind my gardening shed. I like the look of the garbage bowl. It reminds me of my grandma's speckle ware. This bowl is great but it is not made of pottery and is conveniently light. It has a ring at the base that keeps the bowl from slipping and sliding. The bowl is made of a plastic compound and reminds me of those plastic dinnerware sets that were popular when I was a kid. The bowl is actually pretty and offers a nice splash of color. I had a hard time deciding which color i wanted. Because of its size (huge), hand washing seems like the best bet. It washes up quickly and conveniently. My only reservation is I don't know how durable this is. That is why I took off one star. However, it seems fine and definitely will not break the bank at a total price of around $15.

I really needed a flour bowl for my biscuits as this is just the perfect size. I received it, love it and used it today .. I had to end up cleaning it really good, put it back in the box it came in (nicely packaged and no damage) and had to wrap it up for my Xmas gift from hubby. Lol...he said that was my Xmas gift and I couldn't wait to use it so, I did just that and it's now under the tree. I guess I have to wait again to use it again. HA! Either way, it's a nice looking bowl, great material, not heavy and I would know bc my wrists and hands aren't as strong as they use to be. Great for my kitchen flour bowl and perfect size for me. I got it on sale which was nice even though, it was a gift to me from hubby. Lol... Funny! Quick Shipping too...

Excellent bowl, nothing replaces it! Rubber grips on the bottom, sturdy but not heavy, easily identifiable as the garbage bowl (because of its color & size) so there's no more accidentally putting the scraps into whatever I'm mixing (ha ha, happens too often, I'm afraid!)

Arrived as promised and well packaged. Lovely colouring and well made, quality materials that should last for years. Nice to have an authentic Rachael Rae bowl, worth the extra few $$ and would make a lovely home warming etc. gift for anyone's kitchen.
