Perfect Gift for My Future Aerospace Engineer
I bought the Telescope 80mm Aperture 600mm Astronomical Portable Refracting Telescope for my son, who is studying aerospace engineering, and it has been one of the best gifts I’ve ever given him. He was thrilled the moment he opened it! Why we love it: 🌟 Impressive clarity and detail – With the fully multi-coated optics, he’s been able to get crisp, bright views of the moon, planets, and even some deep-sky objects. He keeps talking about how much he appreciates the quality for the price. 🌟 Perfect for learning and exploration – Since he’s passionate about aerospace, this telescope has become an amazing hands-on tool. He’s been using it not only for fun but also to complement what he’s studying. 🌟 Easy setup – Even though he could assemble something 10x more complicated, it was nice that this telescope only took a few minutes to set up. Everything was clearly labeled and straightforward. 🌟 Portable and lightweight – He loves taking it out to the backyard, the lake, or anywhere with a dark sky. It’s easy to pack up and bring along. Overall, this telescope has been a wonderful purchase. Seeing my son light up while exploring the night sky is worth every penny. If you have a space-loving kid, teen, or even an engineering student like mine, this is an excellent choice!

very good customer support
My parents bought one of these telescopes for me. It came with a problem with it's threads that made it unable to stand on the tripod so I contacted their customer support and they helped me get a new one for free. I'm very excited to use this telescope which appears to be a great product.

Nice quality. Need more know-how
I purchased this telescope for my 9 year old who is interested in the sky. Being a novice myself, we need to get someone who knows more about telescopes to show us how to use it correctly. The telescope is well made, very solid, comes with a nice tripod and a lot of pieces. I would recommend it for an adult, or for someone who has a bit more experience than I do.

Perfect Beginner Telescope
Perfect Beginner Telescope – Great for Kids and Moon Viewing! I bought this telescope mainly for my kids, and it has exceeded expectations. Setup was quick and straightforward, which made it easy to get started the same night. The first thing we tried was looking at the moon, and the view was absolutely amazing – crisp, clear details of the craters that kept everyone fascinated. It’s lightweight and easy to adjust, which is perfect for children to handle on their own. My kids loved being able to find objects in the sky, and it really sparked their curiosity about space. The included lenses provided good magnification without being overwhelming for beginners.

Fun
It is easy to put together and once you've focused it, it nice to watch the stars or birds and trees. :)

Expected More, Low Quality
At first, I was surprised that the telescope came in a bag - that's nice! Something to store it and any accessories. However, as soon as I tried to pull the tripod out, one of the straps pulled right off. It now feels kind of like foreshadowing. I always wanted one of these as a kid, and I was excited to be able to get one for my son. I'm really glad that he's getting into science now. But when I pulled the main cylinder out of the bag, it just felt... light. Assembly and instructions were ok for a cheap brand. I would have liked it to be a little more technical, but it looks like it was written for kids. I guess that makes sense, because I discovered this really just amounts to a children's toy. It really just doesn't feel substantial. Aside from the weight, it looked OK when assembled, but it wasn't screaming quality by any means. Hey, moving it was easy because it's so light. But once I got it outside, I could see that it was just wobbly. It hardly stood still enough to see leaf across the street. And even then, I'm just looking at a leaf. I guess it's my fault for not getting something with more magnification. The picture is just low quality as well. I don't understand how that works, but maybe they are low quality plastic lenses? I can't say they are, as I didn't want to touch any and damage. But if you look at the phhotos posted, you can see that they just can't find sharp focus and the colors are just off. It's really weird. I don't know enough about optics to properly explain it all and why it's happening that way. So I tried the phone mount. Everything is held together with screws that push into the device, and I found quickly that I didn't have them really screwed in there. The weight of the phone was a lot for it. And I see why they give a remote for the phone because the thing just wobbles, and I guess you just have to hope it stops in the right place. I finally gave up on the phone mount for now. It just didn't seem like a good idea and I thought that I might lose my phone - it might fall and crack - while adjusting it. It ended up being best just holding it up myself. Making the whole phone mounting part of it (a selling point) pointless. I guess I just expected too much, but I just wanted more for my son. This isn't good. I would recommend someone spend their money on a better quality used device or just watch some videos online to make sure that someone recommends it for having good quality before buying.

Product exactly as seller description, carrier service not so great, disappointing delay on birthday gift after paying an additional $80 for a speedy delivery which was almost a week late

I have to say that this telescope has been a big disappointment. The stand is incredibly shaky and not nearly stable enough to use the telescope accurately. I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but the magnification is really poor and falls way short of the promotional pictures. I live in the Blue Mountains of Australia with really clear pollution free sky, and I can't get a really clear picture of anything other than a reasonable view of the moon. If I had my time over I would choose something else.
