Self Reliance Outfitters/Pathfinder School always has the highest quality and most reasonable prices for all their gear. Everything they have seems to be able to survive the worse that’s out there. This bag is no exception. The perfect size for a day hike. Or a trip outside the main camp. It will hold enough for emergencies if you find yourself late getting back to camp or the car. Plus enough to make your adventure comfortable with the right gear. I carry a 32 oz bottle with nesting cup, my military poncho, a small fire starting kit with a little cordage as well. And still has room for snacks and room to put in anything you find along the way to forage or collect for tinder. A true top notch company that cares about its customers.

Big enough to fit lots and lots of gear! Not tiny like it looked in the picture. A perfect bug out bag for the car, or carrying survival gear on a outing. Good looking, and definitely not sissy!

I'm not much for Pathfinder brand stuff, but this is a good Haversack. Its large enough to carry every thing you might need for a days hike in the woods. Well made and stitched. And yes, it is made in China. You would think Mister Canterberry, hope I spelled his name right, would have it made in the US, since it is so simple. Now for the cons. One, the shoulder strap although long enough, is too narrow. So I will be replacing it with a two inch wide strap. Two, there is a nice pocket under the cover, but there is nothing to secure what you put into it. So I am adding three snaps. Last, I guess there is one more. The water proofing leaves a bit to be desired, but I fixed that problem easy enough. This is a well made bag and should serve me well for the future.

Great product but just a tad small but exlant I'm buying a second one that's how good thay are

This is my second one of these bags. My first one I bought quite a while ago, I use it as a small game bag by using a small trash bag as a liner. If any blood gets out of the trash bag liner the waxed canvas prevents it from getting on anything. I'm going to use the second one to hold items when I go out metal detecting.

I’m very happy with this product. The material seems nice and robust. I expect it’s both very water resistant and will wear well over time. The strap is a bit thin but will work out just fine and seems a great length. I’ll admit the haversack is a touch larger than I expected but that’s great!

This bag is not what I imagined it to be. Instead of a sturdy usable bag, I received a cheap piece of thin cloth disguised as a haversack with a thin dubious looking strap. This item looks more like a child’s toy than anything else. I will not be buying anything else from the Pathfinder store.

Use it for my camp kitchen, fits my 9” skillet cutting board and small grate for cooking over the fire. Great quality, awesome price

Well made. Disappointed to learn this and everything else by pathfinder is made in China. I guess it doesn't pay to support north American when they outsource for profit.

Looks super cheap and the workmanship is terrible. The stitching is off and the canvas color is nothing like the photos. It’s worth $5 tops .
