Bought these to use at our son’s wedding. They had an ice cream cart - these were perfect!

These spoons are the perfect size for making hot chocolate stir spoons! Love that they are wood so look a lot classier than using plain plastic spoons. I would use these for scooping out toppings though because the spoon isn’t super deep- not flat, but not deep. Would be fine for giving guests to use while eating something like yogurt. They are sturdy and a great value for the money!

These spoons were perfect. Great quality. I was concerned they might be flimsy or splinter. They weren’t. Strong and well made. Not too small nor too big. Lightweight which made them easy to transport so people could sample my homemade ice cream. They brought back nostalgic memories as well. I was surprised the test tasters commented how the spoons were a nice touch and change from plastic. They were quite the hit. To give perspective, I’m thinking of starting a cottage bakery and I made ice cream for a group to try, which I why I needed the spoons. They would be perfect for other treats such a puddings, custards, cobblers, desert cups, etc. I definitely plan to buy more.

I purchased the Concession Essentials Disposable Wooden Cutlery Spoons because they are compostable and eco-friendly, which aligns with my commitment to reducing plastic waste. While these spoons have some strong points, they didn't quite meet my expectations for everyday use. On the positive side, these spoons are sturdy and well-made, making them great for spreading and serving food. They are strong enough to handle various tasks in the kitchen without bending or breaking, which is definitely a plus. However, when it comes to actually eating with them, I was disappointed. The natural wood material imparts a distinct smell and taste that I found off-putting. It significantly altered the flavor of my food, which made it difficult to enjoy meals using these spoons. Because of this, I ended up not using them for eating, which was my original intent. While I appreciate their environmental benefits and the fact that they are durable, the sensory experience of eating with wooden spoons is something to consider if you are sensitive to smells and tastes. They are a nice option for serving food, but I wouldn't recommend them for eating.

I will buy any time I need disposable utensils! They are sturdy, look better than plastic, and good for the environment!
