Review: Waste of Money – Very Poor Quality Moong Dal - I paid £11 for 1 kg of this skinned moong dal, which is already quite expensive, so I expected good quality. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. I cooked it for nearly three hours, and it still remained only semi-soft. It seems old and just doesn’t cook properly. For this price, I was really hoping for fresh, tender dal that cooks easily, but this wasn’t it. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it. It was waist of money!

**Q: What do you mean "100% of beans do not sprout"?? then you say they can be sprouted. i'm confused!**
A: They can be sprouted, based on how good you are at sprouting it can vary from 40-90%.  Yes not all of them sprout, some beans are split, maybe 1of1000

**Q: Do these contain soy and can you use these mung beans for your face mask**
A: Mung beans are nothing to do with soy.

**Q: I buy from Indian stores for 5 bucks is 15 dollars worth it?**
A: Definitely NOT! If you use them for sprouting anyway, They are completely unusable for that purpose. About 2/3 of them float and won't sprout!

**Q: What does "gluten friendly" mean?  It says they are produced in a facility that also processes wheat?**
A: The beans themselves are gluten-free. But because they are manufactured in a facility that also processes wheat, it is not certified gluten free and may contain traces of wheat.

I paid £11 for 1 kg of this skinned moong dal, which is already quite expensive, so I expected good quality. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. I cooked it for nearly three hours, and it still remained only semi-soft. It seems old and just doesn’t cook properly. For this price, I was really hoping for fresh, tender dal that cooks easily, but this wasn’t it. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it. It was waist of money!

Cooked it in the instant pot for 45 mins doesnt seem to cook well and its taste tough and grainy!
