Easy to do.
I was leary of buying this, but after reading a few reviews that said it was stronger, I gambled on it.I did it today on a 2021 Super C, where wind and rain bent the original.It took me about 3 hours to do only because I had no idea what I was doing, but it works perfectly and is built better than the original one.If i had to do it again, i bet i could do it in 30 to 60 mins.

Perfect replacement for broken arm
This was a perfect match for the broken arm on my Carefree Travel'r awning. This would have received a 5 star rating but Carefree doesn't include any instructions for replacement. Even after I got their installation manual, the actual installation section is very light. It would be really helpful if Carefree were to include a replacement installation instruction.

This is adjustable.
R001643BLK is adjustable. This went on a 2022 arctic fox 811 and is the exact match for the left side. (Non motorized side). The right side on this camper is the motorized side. And is a different part number.The picture in the item description shows a different part that I belive is the non adjustable version.

Works perfectly, only minor differences in original for Adjustable Travel'r Awning
Amazon had best price I could find . Arrived in 3 days...good. No instructions, but I had read Carefree's installation guide and also the good info in reviews here. This was installed 4-10-20. Arm end that attaches to roller had three, not two holes for attaching, and three self tapping screws were provided. I predrilled 7/64 inch holes. Three screws is obviously better than the two that were in original arm that was being replaced. Holes in camper exactly matched new arm attachment piece. Put new sealant on attachment bolts into camper.Supported awning end with rope as suggested by others here. Easy installation overall...had the wife help, although could probably do by self as others have done. Finally...DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE THE TWO COTTER PINS IN THE TOP OF THE ARM HEAD!!!
