And yes that cost more but better getting it in you system rather than flushing it down the commode. Too this one is made by Core Med Science from the very friendly people in Wisconsin ! Those who follow my reviews know my main deal is supplements and skin care. So lets dig in. Curcumin comes from turmeric. A very yummy spice I use a lot. My friend asked well if it works so well why do people in India (who use a lot of it) still get cancer and heart disease etc. Well the answer may be that only a fraction of it is absorbed into our system. I have been hearing a lot of that lately and the Feb 22 life extension article called Curcumin and Brain Health got my attention. It is a very surprising read. It states a 45 greater absorption rate with liposomal additions. Curcumin has been used for centuries as basically a cure all. IMO it gets a lot of attention for joint, anti cancer, and brain help. I think the list of all it is supposed to do is in the hundreds. The biggest one we hear about is inflammation ! And there is a lot of truth in it. Study after study validates improvement. But sadly we do not get much in our system even if we mega dose. The liver cleans it out thus most of it ends in the toilet ! So I remember when I saw charts of vitamin C which has the same problem. With liposomal it stayed in the system hours longer AND at peak levels for hours. So what do the studies say on Curcumin ? Michele Dei Cas and Riccardo Ghidoni . In case you are wondering what is this Lecithin ? It is a fat that comes from soy and eggs. It is available for sale on Amazon. I do wonder what the NL (nanoliters) would be taking it with your Liposomal Curcumin !? I suspect even higher. So inflammation is swelling and true that ! But its more than just that, it is also redness, and pain and chemical unbalances. There may be no swelling but one or some of the fore mentioned. Think of a germ, bacteria or a virus in your body attacking or even just hanging out. There will be inflammation. Curcumin attacks that and helps everything get back to normal. So yesterday I got my shingles vaccine. Last night was no fun. fever and chills and feeling horrible. This a.m. I felt as if a bus had run over me. Especially my muscles in my legs and arms. I said aha time to test this Core Med Pro Liposomal. I mega dosed. Two hours later I am all smiles. Not a miracle worker as I still hurt but much much less. So either it works or I got the placebo effect ! So yes all 5 stars for this American made better absorption liposomal turmeric !
