The Search for Truth (Books with something to say) Review: Read it if you are on the way to understand who you truly are! - Amazing book, like the rest of the works written by Mr Singer. Very easy to read. The work paints an easy understanding of you as You (the Soul). I did not finish it yet and every chapter is very deep and inspiring. I also would like to suggest for anyone on the path of discovering yourself as the Soul the amazing live conversation "Consciousness and Personality. From the inevitably dead to the eternally alive", you can find a video as well as a book. Review: An explanation of: The Universe, Mind, and its Expression... - Starting with a logical premise and comparative analysis of the main explanations for Universal Law and humanities place within it, Singer has crafted a singular masterpiece. Although much came from his own research and discoveries, no doubt, there were also downloads from higher consciousness, in its formulation and expression. Unfortunately, a portion of his 'economic' conclusion, that we as individuals don't 'deserve' the economic situation we find ourselves in, both personally and as a Society, stands in stark contrast to his logical premise, that of karma accrued vis a vie Cause and Effect. This is possibly due to his Youth and/or his perceptions of the expectations of his Doctoral advisor. Aside from that, the rest of his summation, as well as the whole of the book, stand as a rather unassailable work regarding our place in the Universe and how it works.

Couldn’t put this book down!
I read this book cover to cover because I just couldn’t put it down. This book is amazing for the intellectual who is curious about spirituality and how it ties into mankind in a scientific way. I feel so incredibly grateful to Michael Singer for having written this book with so much thought and effort.

It could be titled "How to understand the process of life from all levels of consciousness"
Of course that would be too long , but it is a very clearly written and understandable book if one is a bit aware of some belief systems used in different paths of life. I found it the cumulative explanation of where we come from, what spiritual power and energy power fuels us while we are alive. Most important, it confirms what my personal intuition says about how soul leaves to go back to the spiritual realm by withdrawing energy in death of the body. I found this book to be exactly what I was looking for to confirm and bring together bits & pieces of what I've studied for 50 years into a roadmap of understanding. Loved it.

A worthwhile read.
Fantastic book that I'd recommend to anyone. It bogged down substantially for me near the end and because of that I almost gave it four stars, but... when this book is good, it's REALLY good, so - five stars it is. I read both of Michael Singer's more recent books (Untethered Soul & Surrender Experiment) before getting this book which was written in the 70s and is his first. Fans of his recent works would also enjoy this I believe, much as I did. I've always felt his message is very similar to that of Eckhart Tolle, but I find Singer's books a much easier, less "heavy" read.

Great Read and Very Informative!
This is an excellent book that will lead you into very thought provoking ideas. He really cuts the chase and just hands you what you need in your search for enlightenment. I have met Michael A. Singer and he is a very dedicated, delightful person. If you are ever in the Gainesville, FL area, try to stop by his place of worship. It is the sweetest place to just be and worship. Temple of the Universe is the name of his place.
