2" x 72" Belt Grinder Wheel Set Complete Wheel Kit Aluminum Wheel Crowned for Knife Grinder 5" Drive 5/8" Bore 3" Track 2" Idler (5" 5/8-3" - 2")

I'm building a 2 x 72" Belt grinder. This was my first purchase from Amazon, and I'm impressed. The set is great quality, and arrived earlier than stated on my order. Already ordered the motor and some more goodies from Amazon this morning.

Seems to work fine, these have 3 or 4 sealed bearings pressed inside, which have an ID of 12mm. Be aware that you wound be distributing the loads well using a 3/8" bolt, you'll want some kind of sleeve. Otherwise the pulleys could work themselves crooked.

The drive wheel is 5/8 but all the other wheels are 12mm. Everything works great, but would’ve been nice to know they were metric.

These work well. I've built 3 machines now and the oldest has been running these wheels for over a year now without problems. It would be nice if they could supply a drive wheel with 24mm metric bore as this is the only shaft size available in South Africa. Having the 5/8 bore machined to 24mm costs almost as much as the whole set.

Used for a 2x48 sander I made, The main wheel (5") is supposed to have a 5/8 bore, it is close but not to spec. It measured .020 oversized. I didn't return, just made a thin bushing to fit. Other than that I used 3 wheels and it's working great.

I am a hobby welder and fabricator, and I’ve been working on a belt grinder. This set of wheels came recommended by a YouTuber that I watch. I’ve bought these before from a private seller (not on Amazon) and I think I must have paid 3X what Amazon wanted. I would highly recommend these to anyone with the same type of need.
