Also thin or flexible surfaces might be damaged with a curved pad like this because the vacuum tries to draw the surface up into the face of the pad. Probably best to not use on glass thinner than 3/16" or 1/4". **Q: What is the maximum capacity of pounds can it lift?** A: Load Capacity: 175 lbs 79 kg per vacuum cup **Q: Will this work on 24"x24" porcelain pavers (40 pounds each) with minor textured surface?** A: This cup will handle the weight with no issues. The problem might be the uneven surface of the tile and / or porosity. This is a single seal cup, older models had a triple seal. You might want to try using a spray bottle using water on the clean tile surface. The mist of water will do two things, promote vacuum seal and lubricater the cup to limit abrasion.
