Works on a variety of surfaces, just great tape
I've purchased this tape three times so far. As soon it runs out, I purchase another roll. I use it frequently for all sorts of things. It comes in handy in the craziest of ways and I will always keep a roll on hand.

Wide for those bigger spaces to mask off.
Nice and wide for the bigger spaces that need to be blocked off. Easy to remove.

Excellent painters tape
I have used scotch painters, tape in all size sizes for a variety of projects, and it never lets me down. Works great for a crisp paint line, taping up some signs on the wall that you want to take down without marring the surface, and placing objects temporarily on glass. Can’t go wrong with this brand.

Ordered multiples
Ordered multiples. It works great for baseboards. I like how it peals off after painting. It sticks nicely without tearing up the paint underneath.

Modern Masking Tape
I use it everywhere for almost everything. Example 1. An acoustic ceiling tile collapsed due to a leaking pipe. I replaced the tile with plastic and adhered it to the grid and as well as some surrounding tiles. A few days later after the pipe was replaced, I carefully removed the tape with little to no ‘esthetic’ damage to the tiles. Example 2. I use it to keep non adhesive backed shelving paper in place.

One of the best
The product arrived without any physical damage or cosmetic imperfection. The usage of this tape was mostly for modifying the sound signature of a mechanical keyboard. Overall, it is good, does the job and does not leave any adhesive on keyboard's PCB. After a while, I used in to sort of stitch the teared parts of a pleather office chair. To my surprise, not only does it hold the pleather together, but it also does not get peeled off so easily. For three months straight, it still stays on the chair and looks, as if it was applied yesterday. The only things, which started to peel off, are tiny sharp corners, but the tape does not continue to peel off from them. Before I purchased this tape, I used other types of cheap masking tapes for all sorts of work. They always failed me in holding stuff, staying in place for a long period, and they always left adhesive one way or another. I will probably start looking into other products from 3M Company from now on.

This is the right tape if you use tape on your 3D printer hot bed. It's nice and wide, so you don't have to lay down as many strips. Prints adhere better to this than to no-name blue masking tape...no idea why. A roll lasts a long time, so the cost per print is quite low, compared to a single-sheet product With a single sheet, if you gouge it, you need to replace the whole thing. If I gouge this masking tape, especially when it's still fairly new, I just change out the damaged strip. Also, I rarely change out the strips at the edge of my table (330 x 330 mm), as I rarely print things that large. So, again, the tape is better value for a second reason. It's hard to find locally, especially in this width, as all our local hardware stores seem to have gone out of Scotch products for some other brand I never heard of. Glad to be able to get this on Amazon!

Notice how all my builds have painters tape? That's because BLUE painters tape is pourse. Filament sticks to it like crazy! It's all I use. I mean I have a mega pro, the filament sticks just fine to the bed but to the tape. BETTER! Slight rub with a green scratch pad. Omg, the finest detail sticks. Trust me. It's all I use now. Buy the wide stuff. 2.8 inches or whatever. Make sure it's this brand, don't go cheap.

I like this wider tape for the bed of my 3d printer. Easier to cover bed with less seem line ups to worry about. You need to know your prices, as this item seems to fluctuate between low tens and low twenties.
