I use these in car, on peloton handle and a few places around house. I have not put one on my bike for riding outside so I've not use the straps to hold it in place as the magnet fits my needs fine alone. I will try it on bike likely this summer and suspect then that the straps will be needed. I've bought others but keep coming back to this one cause the clamp is good, a little big but works well. Many don't have one open end to clamp it onto something like handle bars easily. This is the best of many I've tried. YMMV.

I really like how easy this is to take on and off of the bike; The product is very straightforward and similar to other designs, but the mag safe add such an extra dimension. Extendable rubber straps hold the phone in nice and sturdy, and I have had no issues whatsoever. Ideally, I wish the magnet was much stronger so that it could hold the phone securely in place without needing the rubber straps at all. It’s nearly there, but the phone will fall off over particularly large bumps. Don’t get me wrong, this product is not intended to be used without the rubber straps, but if the magnet was strong enough to completely remove the rubber straps it would be a one-of-a-kind product that I would personally buy for any price. As it stands now, this is a great design, nice price, and the closest thing to exactly what I want that you can buy.

I’ve got mixed feelings about this mount, one of the rubber straps that holds your phone snapped after a few uses, I tied it back together so it still works. With the straps it does hold you phone securely but I worry the straps will fail. I like the design besides the strap issue. It’s easy to remove and switch between bikes and it mounts securely to my handlebars.

Unfortunately, the magnet is weak and the rubber straps broke on the third ride. I didn't get much use from this as I've only had it for about nine months and now it's next to unusable.

I purchased this product with the goal of having a phone mount easily transferrable between a scooter and bike. I first installed it on the scooter and used it for about one month. Worked perfect! Then I took it off and transferred it to my bike at which time it would not tighten. It acts as though the nut threads are stripped but there is no problem unscrewing the bolt to loosen and remove the mount. Now it can neither tighten its hold on the scooter or bike so returned it to Amazon for refund.

I bought a magnetic case for the Oneplus 12 that lets me use the magsafe car charger. As I bonus I discovered that this magnetic phone holder also worked with the Oneplus case, just no charge. But I didn't have to attach the included metal plate to the phone or case.

Mounted it to my Peleton bike handle so I can easily mount, rotate horizontal or vertically, and remove my phone with ease while riding. The magnet was plenty good to hold my iPhone 13 Pro MAX with a case (which is a pretty darn heavy phone!) without the need to use the elastic straps.
