I purchased whiskey stones off Groupon a few years ago that cost approximately $20 for 9, so the price offered by Amazon is comparable. These stones were intended to be a gift to my partner's best friend (although my partner was intent on keeping them if they were nicer than ours, which they are): PROS + Good value for money + Size: They are approx. the size of a small ice cube, so about 3 of them will sit nicely in a tumbler glass. + Look stylish and interesting; having different shades makes the stones even cooler to look at when they sit in your drink + Retain cold well and keep your liquor chilled and undiluted. I keep mine in the freezer so they are always ice cold. + Come in a nice wooden box which makes them very appealing as a gift + Easy to clean: just rinse them off + Durable: I've dropped a stone after washing it before and it didn't break (although, I don't recommend dropping them to test their durability in the first place). Things to remember: - Be aware of the size (small ice-cubes) before you buy; additionally, remember that these need to be kept in the freezer and you should use at least 2 in a drink to keep it cold. My partner and I use these with 1-2 oz. tumblers of whiskey and scotch, and they keep these beverages chilled. (I cannot attest to how effective they will be in larger beverages if the beverage is not already cold.)

Very attractive gift set. The photo makes it seem larger but based on reviews I knew not to expect anything big. The box fits in the palm of my hand. The stones can be used by one or two persons drinking at a time and are a bit smaller than a regular sized ice cube. I gave as a gift so I can't speak on its cooling capabilities. Overall I'm satisfied

I have given mine as a gift to my very kind neighbour who occasionally helps me - and is an occasional Whiskey drinker . They may also chill a “ soft drink “ without watering it down. Not ever seen this product before - so it gets round the “ what do you buy for someone who has got just about everything ! “ It will be interesting to hear how he got on with his “ stones “after Christmas 2022

These whiskey stones will keep any drink nice and cool without having to water the Drink down. Will use them for whiskey, water, soda, you name it. Whiskey stones aren't just for whiskey anymore.
