I've been using Frontline Plus for years, but lately it seems to be not as effective as it used to be. Has anyone noticed the same results ?

Yes! After trying multiple flea & tick medication, my dog wasn’t getting any better...took her to the vet & she stated that the over the counter flea & tick medication isn’t effective since it’s been on the market for some time, the fleas have evolved & aren’t responding to the meds. Plus she said this season has been the worst so that doesn’t help either!!! Take them to the vet, my dog now is flea/tick free

Can I give her a bath

"It is OK to bathe your pet before using FRONTLINE, but the coat should be completely dry prior to application. In the 48 hours immediately after treatment, do not bathe, shampoo or let your dog go swimming." (FRONTLINE webste) This medication works systemically after being absorbed through the skin. Insufficient dosing will lead to product failure.

Ive never had a flea problem with frontline, but for ticks they would attach to the dog before it died. So i switched to the seresto 8 month collar. The 1st one i used worked great no issues. The 2nd one (8months later) had the same date as the first one. I dont know if that was an issue but the collar stopped working after 5 months and we ended up with fleas. First time that we ever had fleas. So i am going back to frontline. My concerns are the date on package and where its coming from.
