KTRIO Clear Plastic Folders Project Pockets for 8.5x11 Document, 12 Pack

This arrived quickly and was exactly as described in the advertisement. These are good quality vinyl clear (see-through) colored folders. I use these to create categories of current paperwork that seems to mount uncontrollably in my life. I absolutely would not have as good of a life without colored folders! That may seem ridiculous , but when we live with so much paperwork , it can become overwhelming very quickly. At least for me this makes my life better. For example, I will put my son's items in blue, my husband's items in green, Bills might go in yellow and emergent items that I need to address right away in the red, Etcetera. There is no rule, it just helps categorize things so that when you have all like things in one clear folder and you can see right through it so you can easily identify the contents of what type of thing is inside it is much easier to find stuff compared to 100 pieces of paper lying on a desk. You now have a few categories of colors that I can associate easily. If i'm looking for my son's stuff , I'll just go ahead and grab that blue folder. If I want to grab the recent utility bill or notice, I will go in and grab the yellow folder. I will buy these again. :)

I already use sheet protectors for my generic weekly & monthly planner pages that I keep in a notebook, but I wanted something firmer that hold up better. I wanted a good quality, non-porous plastic that was firmer than a heavy duty page protector. If the Plastic File Folders did not work for this purpose, I could still use the them as regular folders in the Paper Action Center I plan to set up. Either way they would not go to waste. I was very pleased with the feel of the folders when they got here. They are very smooth and seem to be a good quality plastic (better than the average lamination - thicker and stronger than a heavy duty page protector). When empty they look cloudy, but when you put something in it you can see it very clearly like the cloudy plastic becomes a clear plastic. I have decided to chalk it up to the same kind of magic that causes a light to come on when you flip the wall switch and not worry about why/how it works. To test its dry erase capability, I put my latest Daily Cleaning Checklist in one of the plastic file folders clip it into the clipboard and use a black dry erase marker to checked everything on the list. The marker went on well and erased without leaving any residue. So, I checked them again and waited 24 hours to erase the Morning and Evening Daily List - after a full week I erased the Weekly List - after one month (31 days) I erased the Monthly List. The result for all of them was that the black dry erase marks came off easily without leaving any residue, though I had to rub a little harder for the monthly marks. I used a dry 100% cotton dish towel to rub off the marks. Whether you want these to use as plain folders or to as dry erase pocket sleeves these work excellently. I am using them for both, they are perfect to for use in my hanging folders to separate the main category into smaller ones and being clear it is easy to find the group you are looking for. As a folder it will easily hold up to 30 sheets (you can cram in a few more if you need to) of 8.5 x 11 inch (letter size) computer paper with is plenty for most things. I ordered the 12 to try but will definitely order more next time!

I have used these for a number of years and love them. When I have 'items or projects' going, they are great to keep all papers together. No paper clips popping off or pages getting torn or crumpled because they are protected by the covers. I have had others that were a thinner plastic and, for me, they were not nearly as hardy as these which are just the right thickness.

These are great for keeping papers on a topic together. You can see at a glance what is inside and don’t have to open the folder or write descriptions on outside. They neaten up your desk too!

I have ordered these 3 different times…I love them! I get the multi-colored set. I use each color to organize my tasks, ie: red for urgent items and the other colors I use for shopping lists, to-do lists, bill paying and one for receipts. I put everything I need in the pouch (even my pen). They are great to take to meetings, keeping all documents together. I love the bright colors and the folders are very durable, never had one tear. These make my life easier!
