St.Tropez Instant Glow Face & Body Bronzer Makeup, Smudge-Proof, Vegan, Natural & Cruelty Free

So I'm a middle aged man who no longer takes the sun as I've already screwed up my skin with my youthful stupidity of laying out baking at the beach. This pale Italian's skin is showing its age with sun spots and what have you. I've tried more self tanners than I can count, and they always come up short in one way or another. The worst part about self tanners is waiting for it develop, only to find patches, or worse, an orange or yellow look. You can never tell until you go outside and shock yourself in horror. Even worse, if it's a cloudy day, any mistakes are even further pronounced. It's more than likely the fact that older skin simply doesn't absorb these sunless tanners like the 20-something yo model-likes that usually review them. I decided to try two products, this St. Tropez and another brand that's even more expensive. The expensive brand ($39.95) went on smoothly and I was pretty satisfied, however, the shimmer effect is not exactly fitting for a male. Also, it did come off on clothes even after buffing out the excess as instructed. Even the next day it was still coming off of paper towel rubs. Now, as for the St. Tropez, it's pretty amazing. It's definitely has more of a bronze look (the other was more golden), and it dries ridiculously fast. In fact, you better rub that stuff around like a mutha using a mitt or wide kabuki brush. I've seen tik-tok influencers rubbing a massive amount with their hands and wind up looking like they fell asleep in a vat of pudding. Read the freaking instructions! Anyway, the smell is wonderful, but I'm glad it dissipates instantly. It hasn't rubbed off of my clothes, and thank the sun gods, no ugly-a$$ orange! A nice soapy shower will wash it all off. Will be reordering.

I love putting this on under my makeup. It gives me an instant glow, and I don't look so pale and tired. I use the light color as I am caucasian and pale, and I no longer tan, except naturally in the sun in the summer. This works great all year round. I love this stuff! I use it WAY TOO MUCH!

I’m in love with this self tanning lotion. Beautiful color, and makes skin feel amazing. I’ve always had a hard time with lotions turning me orange or a not natural looking color. Leaves no ugly “fake” tan appearance or smell . Love this product 💕💕

The best! I have used this tanner a dozen times now. I love it! My original review said it would be expensive but I realized that I was using way to much. The tanner is like a clay. It almost goes on dry. It is easy to tan your whole body or just add some darkness to some areas. Review Update - I have used this lotion three more times since the first time and I love it so much. My tip is use a tanning mit, wet it and ring it dry. Start with a small amount, maybe a nickel size. Do full calf, then knee and foot. It will look dark but keep buffing it in. It lasts all day and probably until next day if you don't take a shower. This works great in an emergency situation where you need a tan right now, no time to wait an hour or two and then need to rinse. Plus there is no tanner smell. The only issue that I have is that you need quite a bit of product to cover most of your body and so it would be too expensive to use each day which I would love. But, that’s okay it is made to be a last minute tan, not everyday and for that it is absolutely perfect. I have light skin but am used to a medium to dark tan so I purchased and love the Medium. Light would have been way too light for me.

I purchased after reading great reviews. This stuff just pills and rubs off on my clothes. I’ve exfoliated well before since I know that has a lot to do with the way self tanner lays on the skin. This just looks blotchy all over like I’m peeling from a bad sun burn. Could just be my skin type. Maybe it’s not meant for everyone. And I’m one of those people. The color I great though. If it would stay on. Photo is posted after sitting with my legs crossed. Glad I tried it at home Before going out somewhere with it on!

This product is actually great—beautiful golden tan color that stays on well and doesn’t transfer to clothing. However, it has one major flaw: if your skin isn’t well-moisturized or is even slightly dry, it streaks badly. Be sure to exfoliate and hydrate before applying for the best results. (And even then, it still may streak)

I never leave a review, but I have used this product for several years and absolutely love it. I use light on some areas like face and neck and dark on my body. If you give it some time after application it does very little transfer on clothes. Also put your regular oils and lotions on at night and use this product in the morning not immediately over lotions and it will not transfer onto clothing as much. It requires scrubbing with washcloth in shower to actually remove it. It is the best product I have ever used to produce a tanned look on your skin that doesn’t look fake. People will comment on your tanned legs! It’s amazing! Don’t stop making this stuff please’n

Fabulous product. Realistic and translucent bronzer. Does not look like makeup once on. Concentrated enough to be very economical and useful for everyday needs. You can build the color up a bit, so you can start out light then add more if you want more color. Good for men who like a little sun tan without the skin damage of the real thing. Not at all orange. Easy to use.

I love this product! My skin is super sensitive & reacts to many different tanning products however this is perfect & is natural looking like a makeup for legs. It’s the best!

Love this. The colour is lovely and natural. The good thing is. No transfer on white sheet. Remained in place even after a nights sleep. Spilt water on my leg and it didn’t cause any streak. Washes of fine in the shower. Loved it so much I purchased another 2. Apply it with a slimline brush you can’t go wrong

Beautiful golden colour. Smells awesome and not like that typical self-tanner scent . Unlike self-tanners that fade blotchy after a few days, this stuff can be washed off so you are left with clean skin . It’s like makeup for your body .

This is a brilliant product and I have been using it for ages, it produces a natural Tan if used sparingly, so it lasts for a long while as a result. Recommended :-) as a loyal customer.

When I first tried this product, I panicked because of how dark it was. However, it is quite forgiving and once you rub it in, the colour absorbs well for a nice even glow. It also doesn't stain as quickly / permanently as some other tanning products I've used. I now pair this product up with my regular body and face moisturizer and I find it gives a smoother look than when used on it's own. I use the St. Tropez tanning mousse product as well and I find this is quite different to use than that one is. You can use the instant flow in an area of your body as a one-off, for example your face and neck (as opposed to needing to put the mousse all over your body when applying it).
