All purpose hot glue. Works fine.

I use a hot glue gun a lot for my crafts and my small candle business, and these Gorilla sticks have honestly worked incredibly well for me. My main use is to glue the candle wicks before adding the wax, and so far the bond has been quite strong. I also use them to glue small decorations onto my crafts, like ribbons, stones, and other decorative details. Of all the silicone sticks I've used, these have had the best hold. The glue feels much stronger and more durable once it dries. Something else I really like is that it dries quickly and the silicone becomes clear, so my projects look much cleaner and prettier. The sticks melt well and haven't given me any problems clogging the gun. Plus, the package contains 75 mini sticks, so they last a long time if you craft frequently. I also appreciate that they give you a few seconds to arrange the pieces before they harden completely. The resealable bag is a big help in keeping everything organized and clean.

I love gorilla glue and this is strong for a glue stick. It applies easily and dries fast. It dries clear and holds well overall. I accidentally knocked off something I'd used it for (a smooth medallion onto a laquered surface) and just peeled off the layer and reapplied. Their tubes of glue are more effective and dry harder but this is more effective than other glue sticks and doesn't glue my fingers together. The sticks fit perfectly into my mini glue gun. It's a great value for a crazy crafter like me!

I have used a lot of hot glue guns, and glue in my life, as a teacher, it just comes with the territory. And let me tell you, not all glue is created equal. When I want my projects to hold, Gorilla has been my champion, it's sturdy and can stand time. Easy to use, I haven't had any leakage. It doesn't feel heavy like some glues when you use it. Definitely my go to.

Love that it does not have much stringy stuff when you pull away. And it's nice and clear
