This pack contains 48 pads, which is a good quantity and makes it convenient not having to constantly buy replacements. The first thing I noticed was how soft and comfortable the pads feel. They are designed to be discreet, and despite being a maxi pad, they are not overly bulky or uncomfortable to wear. They fit securely inside underwear and stay in place well during normal daily activities. I also found that they were flexible enough to move comfortably with the body rather than feeling stiff or restrictive. Absorbency is obviously the most important feature, and these pads performed well in this respect. They absorb liquid quickly and help keep the surface feeling dry, which makes a big difference when wearing them for several hours. The pads also seem to do a good job of locking away moisture and reducing odours, helping you feel more confident and comfortable throughout the day. One of the biggest advantages is the peace of mind they provide. Having a pad that is dependable and offers good protection means you can get on with everyday activities without constantly worrying about leaks or needing to find a toilet immediately. I found them particularly useful for longer journeys, busy days out or any situation where access to a toilet might not be as convenient. The adhesive strip on the back is also effective and keeps the pad securely in position. I did not experience any problems with the pad moving around or bunching up during normal use. Although they are described as maxi pads, they still feel reasonably discreet under clothing. Obviously, they are thicker than a standard sanitary pad because of the level of protection they provide, but I did not find them particularly noticeable under everyday trousers or skirts. The pack of 48 also represents good value, particularly for anyone who uses incontinence pads regularly. Buying a larger pack is more convenient and means you are less likely to run out unexpectedly. Overall, I have been very pleased with the Always Discreet Incontinence Pads Maxi Comfort. I find these are the best option for dealing with urinary incontinence. The long plus are good for night time as well. However they are not as good as implied in the adverts - sure they absorb fully and fairly quickly but you don't wear them cupped into your hand so there is a tendency to leak - how much depends on the rate of need - down the sides. They are fine for leakage but if you suffer from urge incontinence or a lack of feeling then you may well overwhelm the speed they will absorb at and they lack any form of edging that really keeps urine contained unless held as in the advert. I don't know if a winged version as in the sanitary pads would be better but always need to look at improving retention until urine can be absorbed. On the plus side they are a lot neater than options like Tena.

I use these as an extra pad to go in top of my day pads. The first leaks are on this which is less bulky to carry & can be changed in the day if necessary. I only buy this max one now, the long pads aren't long enough for me personally.These are very long & cover most areas. They are also a good size to carry in your handbag.
