does it work on pc and steam

Yes it works. Xbox controller layout socks and I won't use it. I used a ps4 controller with ds4 and with steam before upgrading to ps5 controller. The ps controller and every non Xbox controller uses a layout that just works better than Xbox controllers. That's why I want to use ps controllers on my pc and do use them with no issues to date.

Does this work on an iPad?

So long as the iPad is updated to the latest version of iOS the DualSense controller will be able to pair. To pair you will depress the PS button and the share button to the left of the touch pad and hold until the controller blinks. It will then be listed in the bluetooth item menu for you to select and pair.

Why does this take so long to ship?

Could be that it’s coming from different factory’s instead of an Amazon fulfillment center

Will haptic feedback and other features work when utilizing the controller on PC?

It can. It's up to the developer to implement the support for it on their PC version, but it seems to be gettting more common. Plague Tale Requiem supports all the features of the PS5 controller when playing on PC as long as you use the controller wired.

Works seamlessly

Didn't care for the purple, it's more of a blue in person - but I ended up selling it and getting a Nova Pink imported from Japan. Color aside, they're great controllers - I use them on PC with Steam rather than on a PS5, and they pretty much seamlessly just work. I love that they're not as finicky as the DS4 controllers were. They seem to be recognized by more games for the correct button glyphs too, even when Steam says they might not be compatible.

I bought the PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller in Galactic Purple because I wanted to game better… and while my K/D ratio is still questionable, my setup has never looked this classy. First off, the color is stunning. Pictures do not do it justice. It’s like space, royalty, and gamer confidence all rolled into one controller. I keep catching myself just staring at it instead of playing. Function‑wise, it’s classic DualSense greatness. The haptic feedback makes every explosion feel personal, adaptive triggers fight back like they owe me money, and the grip is comfortable enough for long gaming sessions followed by poor life choices. Battery life is solid, buttons feel responsive, and everything works flawlessly out of the box. Downside? Friends keep trying to “accidentally” swap controllers because mine looks cooler. I now guard it like a prized artifact. If you want a controller that performs great and gives off main‑character energy, Galactic Purple is the move. Would absolutely buy again—unless Sony releases an even cooler color and personally attacks my wallet. 🟣🎮
