EMDMAK Survival Kit Outdoor Emergency Gear Kit for Camping Hiking Travelling or Adventures (Black)

Glad I got this, as a just in case, for a camping kit and I'm thinking of getting another one for my car in case it breaks down and I'm ever stuck away from help I could use this to put in my car to help us survive as a just in case sort of thing. You never know. Better to be safe than sorry. Esp if you live in the mountains, it's so hard to be seen or found if you drive off a road etc. It comes with so much stuff in it you won't need anything and that's what makes this kit so perfect!!

Very cool gift for my outdoorsy son. Everything seems pretty sturdy. You get a lot of outdoor tools for a great price!

Firestarter, compass, blanket, saw, and carrying case were all better quality than I was expecting at this price. The carrying case has 4 clips with a rubber o-right seal that would probably keep things dry in any conditions short of complete submersion. The steel card multi tool is too small to be useful as a wrench (I don't see nuts that small day to day), but the can opener, saw, and knife edges would do what they're meant to. The multi-tool pliers feel a little cheap, but are definitely sturdy enough for occasional use. The flashlight was brighter than I expected. Whistle is loud, and made of plastic with a tiny compartment. This is good value for the price. Everything in here is worth it's weight to carry around. I added the following items which all easily fit into the included case: Iodine water tablets for up to 25 quarts, 2nd mylar blanket (to use as a shelter), 10 ft 550 paracord, fire tinder in waterproof bag, steri-strips, adhesive bandages. This will go into my day-hike pack along with a solar/crank powered cell phone charger/flashlight.

This is a pretty nice piece of work. I'd want to have some other equipment on me for an overnight camping trip, but as an emergency survival kit to slide in a pocket, it works just fine. The kit is small enough to fit into a pocket but still contains quite a lot of useful stuff fitted in there. I'm very happy with it.

I was trying to find a unique, useful gift for my groomsmen, so I bought 10 of these as part of their gifts. They come exactly as pictured and described and at a quality reflective of the price. That said, I think you get a lot for your money. The included parts for the kit would be great for someone to keep in the hiking or camping stuff, or even just in their car - a lot of the tools can be used for a variety of things. My only complaint is small - it looks like everything fits in the container, but it comes shipped with the heating blanket separate. I didn't take off any stars because I wouldn't want them to simply not offer the safety blanket, but I think they should've just made the case a little bigger to fit it all.

It is always good to keep an survival kit in your home. Never know when the zombies will come. It's necessary when camping, hiking, hunting, biking, climbing, traveling, adventures, survival and in emergency situation. Also great for a gift.

This kit has everything in it that it claims to. Why 3 stars you ask? Well, there are four forked like tabs on 3 sides of it, and in an emergency I’d only be able to open one of those stupid things on a good day! They are very difficult to pry open with just my fingers, and trust me I’ve tried! It hurts really bad after opening just one, and I can’t get the other’s open with just my fingers. They may want to rethink how you can open this if you have an emergency situation going on! Just my two cents worth

Fantastic little kit! Bought it for a car camping cross-country trip. On our dry run weekend trip I busted out the wire saw to cut up campfire wood because we forgot our axe! It's reassuring to know we have these supplies in case we forget anything or in a pinch. Not necessarily a survivalist kit but definitely worth having for front country camping trips.

Got this as a gift for my best friend and she loved it. The quality of each item is really good and I liked that it’s packaged so neatly in a compact case. The only downside is that the case isn’t the best quality.

This product is perfect as a Christmas or birthday gift for young boys and girls. It includes a compass, small torch, emergency blanket and a few other useful items. This will be very useful for children who go camping regularly, spend time in bush land or are members of a scout club. A great item all round
