Used this & the shampoo for 3 weeks around Borneo, I was really impressed my hair was clean & detangled & did not get the usual 'chewing gum' consistancy as it usually does in humid climates. I have very thick, coarse & curly hair & it made it feel so good I will continue to use at home. In addition it will last ages.

Excellent eco packaging 📦. Whoever packs the shampoo bars does it with love and care. It's like receiving a treat. (This shampoos are a treat indeed and don't cost the Earth if bought in a pack of two). They last a long time.

I wasn't sure if these would work for me, but I'm happy to say they're great. My hair is clean, soft and manageable (for those with thick curly hair you know how hard it is to find products) I will definitely be buying again

If you have any sort of sensitivity don't even think of buying this. This set my scalp on fire! I have dry and extremely curly hair, and this did nothing but dry it out further. What you don't get to see in the product marketing are the ingredients. Why so many unnecessary ingredients? This is in no way natural as the product would lead you to think. There's nothing that would help to define curly hair in this. Ethique? I don't think so! Un-Ethique more like it! I'm using it as ordinary soap to use it up, and it's drying the rest of skin out like a prune now. The backs of my hands are now red and inflamed. Unless you have a scalp and skin as tough as old boots, and want a frizz bomb on your head, I'd give this one a miss!

I ordered shampoo to reduce liquid size when travelling, tried at home a few times. I have very thick curly long hair and the friction from rubbing block on hair caused more knots and hair drying. Not a fan of the block shampoo really. I will travel with small amount of shampoo liquid and buy at travel destination next time.

I bought this mostly for my husband because he has insane white guy afro hair. It works alright. It gets the dirt out. It smells nice. I was using it, but stopped because it would leave my hair with a film on it at the roots so it was difficult to brush, felt dry/brittle. looked dirty dirty dirty 2 days later. I could get past the worst of it with a lot of brushing and a little starch to cut the oil. So I stopped using it and all shampoo all together. I'm not using anything except some Moroccan Method dry shampoo and a lot of good brushing. Holy baby hairs, batman! My "thin patches" at my temples are coming in thick whereas when I was using this shampoo (2 bars worth washing only every 7-10 days) I looked like I was getting male pattern baldness. My hair is long with a bit of texture, but because it's long any wave or curl gets brushed out so it might as well be straight. In short. This stuff made my hair heavy and unmanageable and there is something in it which stops my hair from growing - made it very thin - and as soon as I stopped using it all my hair grew back in.

This is a really novel idea. The concept is great, and the bar is easy to travel with, and easy to use. My hair was definitely clean, and did not frizz when it dried. The only drawback I experienced is that it didn't lather up like regular shampoo. I had to rub it under the water for a long time to get enough on my hands to wash my hair. All-in-all, thought, I would definitely purchase this again. We do a lot of traveling, and I love not having to travel with leaky bottles.

I have dry, fine, curly hair and I love this shampoo. It doesn't dry my hair out, isn't heavily scented, and doesn't bother my skin when I use it in the shower. I got the rest of my family hooked on it too. There is no plastic packaging and the little box is recyclable. It is great for travel too. My hair stylist says my hair is in excellent condition.

The smell is a little off-putting, but functionally, I really do love it for my curly hair. It cleans nicely, but doesn’t completely strip the hair of oily.
