I think these are good for making soaps where you will be adding in your own oils/scents or for any type of display where you want flower petals, but these are only so-so for my purposes. I wanted to use these in herbal blends and oils. When I opened the bags to smell them, they all smell the same! As if they've been treated with something or they are very old. The lemon does smell like lemon, however. And I got a slightly different scent off of the rose buds. Maybe it's the drying process the company uses, I'm not sure. I was hoping I could make infused oils and things like that, but I would only be able to use these in items where I'm adding essential oils and just want the look of having a few flowers inside of the bottle. The day these arrived, some other herbs and flowers arrived from an herbal shop and I definitely noticed the difference. The flowers and herbs from the herbal shop have strong and distinct smells. I'm not sure I'd order these again -- at least not for the same purpose. I think these would work great for items where you just want the color or look of flowers, which is why I gave them four stars. I think I might be allergic to one of these as I sneezed after opening several packages to smell the flowers.
