Is there any advantage in choosing maximum strength version over standard?

With the maximum strength, there is more zinc oxide, which promotes healing; Maximum strength is thicker & seems to adhere to the skin better (it is actually quite a challenge to totally remove). So, in a nutshell, use the maximum strength if you already have a problem with skin breakdown/rash. Use the regular strength for very minor issues and/or as a preventative measure.

how do you get it off of adult clothing ? and off of adult bodies ?

Soap and water for skin. For clothes, it was still there after multiple washes with detergent. Came out after adding baking soda and vinegar to the wash.

Mineral oil? States product is Petroleum free, yet mineral oil is a petroleum product. Anyone?

Feels organic. Doesn’t have a petroleum feel. Excess wipes off easily with paper towel. Washing any quantity doesn’t wash off with hand soap easily. My only qualm with the product is the container comes 60% full
