Quality Part, Easy Install
Just installed yesterday. My RV has a roof access box, so used this to house outdoor RJ6 cable for GEN3 dish mount project. This unit screws on to surface, so I could add to RV w/o having to remove existing box. The directions included and on Amazon were not for this unit, so I wasn't clear I could slice the rubber block. I used 8mm brass drill bit provided and worked great. Caution that tube gets super hot after drilling (and yes I used the soapy water). I covered screw threads, screw tops, drilled hole, cable, and top seams in silicon as a precaution. Time will tell if I installed correctly.

Great product and customer service.
Great product. I had a mishap on my first use, partly due to misunderstanding the instructions and it rendered the seal nil. I contacted support to ask about what I was doing wrong and they offered to send me a replacement seal. The thing is, I have a bare wire to get through it, and instead of cutting a slit with a knife, I just drilled bigger than the wire, and pushed the wire in. The seal is super tight then. Great product and customer service.

Great solution for multiple wires!
These Seaview glands work great. They are easy to install, and look excellent once installed. My only complaint is the rubber insert is a pain to drill out for a proper fit but that's more to do with the nature of the design & material than it is the product. Make sure your bits are sharp and make sure you properly measure (use calipers) your wiring and your drill bits.

Solar wiring - Excellent choice
Used on my Van roof for solar wires, best gland out there, i’ve used a few types over the years, this beats all of them,

High quality, perfect solution
Needed a water-tight exit for 4AWG cables. This was perfect

Worked as advertised.
This was a bit of work to install, but I feel that it will keep the roof waterproof in the end. Time will tell. I suggest you use some RTV under the rubber gasket when installing. Much better than drilling holes in the roof and plugging them with RTV. The included "special drill bits" for cutting wire holes in the rubber are awesome. I saved them for other projects.

Easy sealed cable port
Great product. Does just what it is supposed to do. Everything needed is in the box👍🏻

Does exactly what they say it does. I'm not sure what people are referring to when they say it's difficult to drill holes for cables. The until comes with hollow cutting drill bits (like tiny hole saws) that remove a plug from the rubber. They have worked fine for me. One tip - If the hole is a little snug on the cable, spray a little WD-40 into the hole and the cable will slide straight through.

Was trying to figure out a way to run my Roof top lights wiring on my Jeep to the inside of the jeep. I ordered a few different products to try them out and this was the only one that would work with what I needed to do. Happy I got this.

The instructions included were for another product, and the product itself was defective.
